WCPPL Event 1 paint

You guys need to figure out the paint situation because the paint this event was the worst paint I have ever played with in my entire playing career. It was like shooting marshmallows out of my gun, I witnessed on several occasions people being bunkered and it bounced. How the hell is this going to happen at a regional event. You should have the confidence to be able to shoot cross field hit the guy and know the paint is going to break on him, people shouldn't have 5 or 6 lives at a regional event. I was very, very disappointed with the paint...

I will have to agree, the paint was pretty bad, it at least shot somewhat straight though.

I never had a problem with the paint at any of the WCPPL events, I am sure this occasion was just a fluke.

I think Mike addressed it well enough at the ceremony, and assud the teams it wouldn't happen again, besides the gold was money for us.

Mike had the paint formulated for the colder weather that was expected this past weekend so that people wouldn't be shooting soup. Weather turned out to be warmer than expected, hence the thicker shell was ****. Blame mother nature, not WC.

Gold shot really good, the 3 star was hit or miss. Sometimes I would load a pod and it would be just fine, other pods were all over the place.

Well everyone shot the same paint so it didn't really matter. I remember we would load gold into the hoppers for off the break and the **** paint for the pods that worked well.

The gold was absolutely awesome. Best paint I've shot in a long time.

learn how to maintain your paint. if its too brittle warm it up, too bouncy get it cooled.

This is generally how i've always done things too. Although I try to avoid the '****ty' paint part. Always load the most brittle into the hoppers, though.

Telling our secrets. lol TRY HARD!!

3 star, we kept it in a big cooler with ice in it for 30-1 hour prior to each match. 3 star went good for me and shot pretty decent. Gold, we tried to let it set in the sun. Gold was money.

What did he say at the ceremony? I just grabbed our medals and left because I there was a 7 hour drive ahead of us.
