geo 2.1 2nd solenoid leak
ok i had a leak on my geo 2.1 solenoid it was comming from the little silver ball infront of the pilot assembly. i replaced it with a completley new solenoid and aired it up at home sealed fine no leaks. played with it at the field no leaks. came home and cleaned gun went to air it up and it now has another leak at the same location. am i doing something wrong this is getting out of hand.

Make sure everything is assembled correctly. Are you using a name brand battery?

Yes it an energizer but battery shouldn't matter because when I air it up it fine and then a second later I start to hear the solenoid leak.

Ok cause it seems weird that I replace a solenoid it works then I take the gun home to gass it up and it leaks. It almost seems like the little silver ball is acting like a pressure relief but if my gun is at stock settings and shooting 280 why is it needing to relieve pressure.
which is the sail o ring the book did not say

I believe (if I'm not mistaken) the sail o-ring is the middle of the three o-rings on the bolt.

The middle o-ring on the bolt is a bumper.
The 14x2 o-ring behind the bumper would be the equivalent of a sail o-ring, but air leaking passed this o-ring would leak in to the firing chamber, rather than being sent back to the solenoid, so I doubt this has anything to do with your issue.
A leak passed the ball would tend to indicate that air has got to somewhere it shouldn't be, and that would normally be associated with a leaking solenoid spool pack, a cracked solenoid housing, or a leaking manifold gasket. As you have a new solenoid, and assuming you didn't damage it during installation, the gasket would appear the most likely cause.

Ok I checked the gasket and replace all o rings inside the spool pack and pilot assy. It a slight leak that you can hear when you put your ear next to it. I also know it comming out of here cause I used a dropper to put some soapy water over the hole and it bubbles. I'm going to rePlace the housing on it and just swap over all the parts to see if it stops
ok i got the new housing today and put the internals into it and right away it started leaking. then i took out all the internals and replaced every o ring and still leaked out of the little silver hold and the rectangle hole behind it. does any one have any ideas why the solenoid is still leaking

Any scratches on the bottom of the body where the solenoid attaches?

no and i tried everything from a dry gasket to a slick lubed gasket. this is starting to agrivate me as i have only used the gun like 5 times and its already like this. i even tried lowering the hrp pressure thinking i was over pressurizing and it still leaked when i had the pressure all the way down.

I've had the same leak with mine. Sometimes it stops, sometimes it doesn't. I've replaced all I could, and now I just deal with it. I'll send it in when I have time.
