i'm not being fickle, lol. A dip in form isn't the issue, he consistently has lapses in concentration. That's my exact issue, but then again I don't get paid cash to play.
Over the past few seasons he has been immense, world class (even though I HATE that word). I'd say hes the best defender who has played for Liverpool since Carra/Hyppia.
Barca is gonna go ape**** at Camp Nou next month, watch out Milan.
and calls have never gone Barca's way. Either way, Milan won 2-0.
Except for possession, Milan was the better team and neutralized all of Barca's offensive weapons. BUT... You're right, Barca will come to play next month and no lead is safe against them. I'm just happy that Milan didn't get blown out and have a chance at advancing. The win was icing on the cake.
In the mean time, it's a good day to be a Rossonero.
somnam - I'm good dawg, just been busy with school and all, how bout yourself?
It's good to see ya bro, ah busy with the books, that's always a good thing Things have been incredibly crazy here, I thank the lord for my PVR because the hours I am running don't exactly make it easy to catch the matches, but I will tell ya, between the pball projects, learning, making money and footy, ya wonder where the sanity goes hehe Just keep at it summer is around the corner

Eh, there's a new tone at Anfield, Rodgers is by definition cleaning house. By summer I expect Jamie as an assistant coach or at least heading the youth development teams, Gerrard will be probably the only one left of prior era, Reina, Agger and probably 5-8 more are gonna be gone come summer. I think its actually good to clear house. What was before wasn't working, doesn't make sense it would now. But ya gotta have faith.
I wouldn't be sad to see Suarez go either, sure he is a great play maker and incredible talent, but i don't like the drama, and Sturridge really excites. Ya get him and Sterling firing on the same page, throw in Gerrard passing it well to em, then we got some cakes in the oven. For gods sake though, Warrior has gotta revamp the goddamn jersey and apparel issue, last years / this years scarf is so fugly, its like the Lena Dunham of soccer scarves......
That would be terrible if Suarez left, he petrifies teams with his presence letting Sturridge get open and have space. The Sturridge/Suarez partnership is gonna be awesome. Also, I dont really expect Rodgers to let many more people go, we have a good squad right now, just need to sort the defense/keeper out and maybe add another winger and back up striker. Maybe 3-4 players, tops. In other news, Liverpool is out of Europa. Its ok, we shouldnt have let our team get beat 2-0 by Zenit in the first place, it just goes to show you how much work needs to be done. But glad to see the team click and completely dominate and respond to being behind.
Lol, I love when Barca's false number 9 thing fails. Just like against Chelsea, when Messi fails the team fails.
This is what Mark von Bommel has to say:
Quote:
Van Bommel, who spent the 2011-12 season at San Siro, has claimed that he and his colleagues at Milan were of the opinion that Messi would struggle to score more than 30 goals in a campaign if he played in Italy.
"Three quarters [of the changing room] thought he would score definitely less [than 30 goals a season in Serie A]," Van Bommel told Algemeen Dagblad.
"And that's me included, yes. Serie A is just a very different approach to football. You can still neutralise sides like in no other league.
"It was only last year that Messi scored his first goal against an Italian club. This is no coincidence."
