And Rio gets a slap on the wrist for calling AC a choc ice on twitter. The FA is a ****ing joke. They should just rename themselves the man u fan club. £45,000 fine and no games missed with concrete proof as opposed to Suarez's £40,000 fine and eight match ban on hearsay. What a crock of ****

If you buy a player KNOWING that he plays a certain style and expect him to change that isn't very fair. The truth is Sir Alex buys players like toys and once he gets tired of them he throws them away.
Also before you say, "WHO!??!!?", look at Ronaldo. He originally worked back everytime, but soon he only stayed up and never came back. Berbatov also plays as much defense as Nani. Sir Alex grew tired of Berbatov and ruined his career. I feel if he was given more freedom and encouragemnet he would be more willing to work hard, his time at Totenham shows this.

You should do some googling about Berbatov's antics in the team room behind the scenes. If they are true, it would definitely change how you view him. You seem to know quite a lot about him though so maybe you should ask him the next time you are at Carrington.
I have no idea what you are talking about with CR or wild spending by Fergie. He is pretty good with getting returns on investments or coming out even, if not ahead with transfers.
And Nani defends a hell of a lot more than he did when he first came over to United. I think that is pretty telling of how he is becoming a true two way player.
The simple fact is, at the top, you have to have a deep squad where positions are challenged and where you can rotate players in an out that can make an impact. Squad rotation when done correctly is far from ruining anyone's career.

I'm not arguing with you nor did I ever say anthing about money, but it is common for fergie to buy a player and let him rot on the bench.
I have no idea about the behind the scenes, but a un-happy player will act up

It is?
Like I said, google his antics prior to coming to United and after, it might change how you feel about him.

Does anybody remember the website for the store that several of us bought the really nice replica/fake jerseys from a few years back? I don't really want to look through every past edition of the soccer thread, so if somebody knows/remembers, that'd be awesome.
Thanks.

.
Carragher needs to coach, but oh well
We move the ball better, but can't score. The game was exactly like my club game this week, 50 chances over all on target but we only scored 8. I had 10, but didn't score (fml)

Lukaku is going to be an animal...goal and an assist on his debut in the Prem as a sub. Great loan move for him. Shoulda happened sooner but I'm glad he's there now.
Aaron - Seriously lol...he's only 18, built like that, and there's already a lot more to his game than just using his body. People weren't ****ing around when they said he could be the next Drogba.

You could see how good he was when he got his bit parts at Chelsea. He is going to be good. I thought Marin looked great in pre season games as well.

That was a crazy match...I felt like United were soo close to clicking and getting the first goal of the match, but Everton were defending with such strength...impressive win for them.
