Jr didnt "take him out". They got together and Gordon was in an unfortunate position that cut down a tire. Not much either one could have done.

In the Nationwide series?

I wish there were restrictions for the Cup series guys only allowing them to race a few times in the Nationwide series. I don't like how some of them like Busch, Harvick, Edwards and a few others race quite a bit of them and usually win or place in the top 5. I think they should be allowed to race around 7-10 races maximum throughout the season.

But he still took him out. Not intentionally, but his car was the reason Gordon's tire went down. Either way lol because i don't like Gordon.

Yeah, watching the fontana race.

I kinda like it because it raises the competition, granted it could give younger drivers less podium opportunity but I feel like it makes them better drivers as well

I wouldnt mind a restriction like that though to give others more opportunity .. I guess I'm in the middle

I think it should be for the other, less talented drivers to succeed and practice so maybe they can have a chance at driving in the cup some day.

what it does is takes sponsorship and rides away from young guys and small teams..

there was a time when the nationwide series had a full field of regular nation wide drivers no cup guys at all and only at really special races would you see 1-2 cup drives (usually sr or mark martin) then all of a sudden you got a sea of cup drivers racing nationwide and a majority of the normal nation wide teams folded up and were replaced by cup teams or cup drivers were given the rides of nation wide drivers.

i remember one race where gibbs took his driver out of the car half way through the race (while the kid was leading like his second race ever in nationwide) to put denny hamillin in the car so hamillin could get the win.

since bill jr and brian france have taken control its been going down hill with each new generation of France to take over it.
