2012 NASCAR Discussion
I didn't see another thread so if there is, lmk and I'll delete this one.
The Daytona 500 was supposed to be today but I just read that it will be postponed until tomorrow.  I'll be at work and I will turn it on there.
I want Dale Earnhardt Jr. to win a few races this year. 2008 was the year he last won. I haven't been paying to much attention the past few years but hope to change that and would like to attend one or even both of the Texas races.

If Jr. doesn't win I wouldn't mind seeing Matt Kenseth win it.

I'd like to see Jr, Smoke, or JJ win it.
but it will probably be someone obscure who we wont hear from for the rest of the year.

I will be amazed if Danica Patrick doesnt crash before the end of the warm up lap for each race

I dislike JJ with a pashion. Would love to see Jr. win it. If not him, Ryan Newman or Matt Kenseth.

well her last 2 crashes weren't exactly her fault.

still, there is a stat out there for her nationwide races where she has crashed in 12 out of 23 races or something like that. I heard it on sportscenter, not sure if that is the right number, but she has double digit crashes within 20 or so races

Been a Gordon fan since the day I saw him win the Brickyard 400 in '94, I know he's been on a bit of a slide as of late but I'm still pulling for a good season. I'd like to see Patrick take off, but I don't have high hopes for her at all.

she's too nervous, she might have the drive to win but she doesn't have the confidence.
watching her in the duels/nationwide she was way to twitchy pushing and seemed nervous around other cars.

Hopefully. Sportscenter just said 95% chance till 7. Then 20% after that. So it might be around 9 est before it kicks off.
Either way, I am glad it was postponed. I love night races more and I get to watch the whole thing since I won't be at work.

Weather channel has 30% and dropping for the rest of the day/night and the radar is looking clear as of right now so I'm gonna stay positive for 7 haha screw espn
As long as I don't have to wait another day I'm happy

I lucked out so bad. I'm in school 11-530 today, so had it been at 12 I would have missed it for the first time in my life. Thank you mother nature.

Radar looks clear for the rest of the day/night. 7 would be fine but I wouldnt had later haha.
