exactly. Team work is another way of saying "group participation" it takes good communication, constructive feedback, sacrifices and effort and most of all tolerance of ego's, mistakes, and growing pains, ect. from everyone within.
Skill discrimination will be the utter most challenging to overcome. The skilled must become teachers. Otherwise people will just leave, defeating the purpose of the system. It will be challenging, just dont give up!
I know you guys will do fine 5-6 years ago, I had to drive up there every week to play. Because, down here, there were no teams open to new players. Just close "friends" teams with no system for farming skill. Nothing wrong with that just doesnt leave much room for the new guy wanting to break into the scene. Essentially this is what inspired me to open CPB. While the field didnt last, due to economy and competition, the team did last. It looked like it was never going to happen but thanks to a few guys like Matt Greene, Josh Ehling, Ryan Fay, Dan and Matt Ayers who seen my desire and joined my effort, ultimately saving the dream and team. I love those guys and will always will be thankful to them for not letting me give up and helping me play the game I love and helping me to provide a team where all players can play and grow in the great sport of paintball....its beautiful thing! This team work is making the dream work!
We are still evolving and growing and learning, Im not saying we got it figured out, because we dont, but the passion for accomplishment runs deep in us, as I know it does up there - just dont forget to the 3 F's Forgive and forget and by all means have fun! Do this and No team or system will fail to personality conflict or growing pains, nothing will stop you!
Again good luck guys!
