Polishing Trigger mechanism, Smart?

When i pull my trigger back and it rubs agianst the left side of the trigger frame; it kinda sticks then releases but only when i pull the trigger not when i release it. Now i was wondering would polishing the trigger mechanisim help? If you guys do suggest it, should i polish the stuff till it shines like silver? And could polishing possibly increase the rate at which the internals wear?

As long as you don't touch the part of the trigger that comes in contact with the sear, you should be fine. You shouldnt get any extra wear because the trigger is not supposed to touch the side of the frame anyway. Another way you could try to do it is by simply dripping a little bit of oil on the side thats rubbing and then just pull the trigger repeatedly while you sit on your comp or whatever. Through natural wear it should even out.
