some quick noob questions.

I did a search and could not find anything.

Does anyone know hoe to keep glasses from fogging in a game
I wear sly profits.

I went ahead and bought some anti fog spray online and was wondering if i should use that on my glasses?

also how do you clean goggles both on the field (staging area and such)
and at home?
i was told water and alcohol can anyone confirm?

And how do you wash jerseys?

as for your glasses. Try the anti-fog spray and wipes, if that doesn't do it, you could try a goggle fan. I don't know if anyone still makes them though. Best solution - contacts.

Cleaning masks- use your included mask instructions (or find them online) to disassemble the mask. I use a toothbrush and dish soap on hard parts and a soft cloth and windex on the lens.

As far as jerseys are considered they probably have instructions on the tag. My guess for pretty much anything athletic cold wash and line dry

IIRC, windex is no good for Pball lenses. I'd look into that.

You can look at many of the Pball online stores, and can find anti-fog cleanser. Not that expensive.

For your jersey, Shout for greasy stains on splatter and hits, use your usual detergent, wash on warm, cold rinse, hang dry.

mask fog..not sure I don't have that issue...maybe try not breathing so heavy...kidding of course

call me strange but I just use some dawn and water to wash my goggles...paper towel dry gets em crystal clear every time...

jersey I put on hand wash cycle and hang dry...nothing more..same with pants too...I do it immediately after though so the paint doesn't have time to discolor my jersey

hey i had asked this question couple of months ago and after everyone's answers and suggestions. I had finally found out what works best, which was an anti-fog gel called Sea Gold Anti-Fog. You can buy it at any scuba system place or Scuba diving school or shop. I use 2 pea sized of gel rub it into your glasses and then rinse with water and dry off with a paper towel. from there it will last for about 2-3 hours of play and then you would need to reapply it. But the overall solution for your glasses not to fog is Eye Contacts.

I agree that contacts (unless your prescription is such that you can't have them) is the best route. I actually wear glasses all the time, but only wear contacts for paintball and you can buy the daily wear contacts (wear them once and throw them away) for a decent price. They are a bit expensive if you wear them all the time, but for only paintball they are not that bad. If you have your prescription (your eye doctor must provide this to you legally if you ask), you can also order them online and save quite a bit. Good luck!

Use a microfiber cloth to clean the lenses. If there's a ton of paint on your mask, rinse it off with water.

Something else you can try is to manipulate where your breath goes in your mask. If you breath down out the mask with your mouth, chances are you won't be so quick to fog.

Sly profits shouldn't have a fog problem unless it's very humid

For fogging, use some sort of anti-fog wipes. I used to wear glasses when I played, they only fogged up on the really cold days for me, but I wore a flex. Now I wear contacts, no more worries.

Do NOT use windex on the lens. I'm pretty sure I've read somewhere that the chemicals in windex slowly eat away/damage the material of the lens, therefore making it weaker and unsafe for play.

Cleaning!!
Mask: Disassemble, use water. Don't submerge the lens if it's dual pane/thermal. Use a clean rag/micro.
Lazy person method: Clean lens only when unable to see clearly. Wipe hits on other parts of mask enough so they don't look fresh anymore.

Jersey: Optional to flip it inside out. Some say it helps make the color last longer. Wash in the washing machine, cold water.
Lazy person method: What is this wash?

Get some thermal lens man, freaking incredible. Won't have to worry about fogging. You can use anti-fog spray, we use it all the time on the field for rental masks. Microfiber on the lens only. Other rags might have stuff that will scratch it. Start off with water to rinse everything down and get the paint off. Dry it, put it all back together, and then clean the lens with either lens cleaner or anti-fog to get the finger prints off. Jerseys - throw them in the washer, cold water, good amount of detergent, then let those suckas air dry! You can wash them with normal clothes too, just don't tumble dry. Jerseys are air dry.

anti fog, but you prbly need a new lens if profits are that bad. to clean on field back of your jersey or brind a microfiber with you. off field microfiber and water. DO NOT USE WINDEX OR OTHER CLEANING PRODUCTS OR PAPER TOWELS!!!!! they will scratch up your lens and take off the anti fog if its on

What kind of mask do you have? Grillz? Something that completely breaks down to just the mask frame? No foam or lens or anything else?

Toss that thing in the dishwasher.

Like others have said don't use pledge or windex on your mask.

I've been using the virtue glint with a microfiber cloth on my grillz and I really think that it's one of the best solutions. A little overpriced but the bottle should last you a while and you can just take it to the field with you. I don't know if it really extends lens life but I can say it does a really good job cleaning the mask and preventing fogging. Smells pretty good too

I don't know what everyone is freaking out about when it comes to cleaning supplies. There are plenty of safe cleaning fluids out there that can be used on a variety of lenses.

For example, Simple Green, especially if you cut it down to about 1 part simple green to 3 parts water, never have had a problem while using it.

Other then that, some FogDoc is your friend
