I like any and all Bond movies. Yes, some are terribad, some are really good....but in the end I am a Bond fan for life. DC has done a good job with the role, he is more of the Sean Connery bond.....
At least he isn't the campy Roger Moore type!!!!!
The Bourne series has had an effect on the way Bond's are made, for better or worse.....
I thought CR was a great reboot, Q of S was meh. Well made, well acted, but who gives a crap about Bolivia and water....
I have high hopes for this new one though....!!!! Looks great, good director on board!

I'm sure I'll get **** for this, but whatever haha. I grew up as Pierce Brosnan being Bond, so to me... he was "Bond." that being said, my favorite bond movie is Goldeneye, and the other Pierce Brosnan movies weren't all that great except for his last movie before Craig took over.
I thought Casino Royale was an excellent film and I would rate it a 10/10. Quantom of Solace on the otherhand, had its ups and downs. It seemed like it was just another bond movie "filler," but I'd still give it a 6.5/10.
I really like how Craig has assumed the role as the "newbie Bond;" the era when he first became a 00. Thus he's not quite the super-ninja-badass Bond's that preceeded him. He can't effortlessly win fights and battles, yet and he gets his *** kicked in the process of saving the day. The current films feel more "realstic," up to date and more in line with current action hero/spy's of Jason Bourne movies and the Jack Bauer series. Had they continued on with the traditional bond mentality I feel that the last two movies would have been a helluvalot lot less entertaining and many people would have lost interest in the Bond franchise.
Im glad the're taking their time and I can't wait for this new Bond film.

Brules you know what your talking about or at least have researched lots! Please no more Roger Moore Trash! Freak 36; I agree with 90% of your post, can't agree that realistic translates to super intense. I just miss my Goldeneye I suppose.

I cant wait. Daniel Craig is the best bond for this realistic/modern spin they've been going on. I enjoy it better than the cheese of the ones in the past.
I think Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace were amazing films. I had no issues with them. But the plots (not to say they were bad) just weren't for everyone.

Looks pretty good. I have never heard of the Bond girl before, but I like the choice. I guess she is some French actress, Bérénice Marlohe.

Seen one or two previews for it, looks like a standard enjoyable Bond flick from the limited previews.

I just saw it and thought it was great.
Possibly better than Casino Royale.
Spoiler: (Highlight this box to see the hidden message.)
| Did anyone else notice that the plot seemed to start off as The Dark Knight and end up being Home Alone 2? |

Oh god, my head is full of **** now.
So much nostalgia and throwbacks from the good old days of Bond.

| As soon as I saw Eve stand behind that desk in the secretarys office I ****ing knew she was going to be Moneypenny. And how Fiennes looks like a skinny Bernard Lee. |

eh I didnt really get that feeling
javier bardem is a great actor and he had a huge influence on the feel of the movie, he made the villian very unique without overdoing it imo
his screen time was actually my favorite thing about that movie
I saw this in imax and it was awesome, I didnt like that it was not as grounded as the previous two bond movies
I had to facepalm when the dude in the beginning disconnected the train cars with a G18 as well

I think they were using special types of bullets according to what came out of Bond's shoulder/chest? So maybe... just maybe it was possible? Probably not though... lol
Obviously saw it last night, it was good and maybe even almost great, but not amazing by any means.
