Regs on a Senti

Hey i am getting a nitro tank for x-mas and I was wondering what kind of regs you guys have found work nicely on a senti and also what a good operating pressure is. I have been looking at a Mac Dev 04, a CP Powerstation, a Bob long Torpedo, and an AA Black Ice.
I have entered this in the Air and Air accecories part of the website and I got some answers but I figured that if I asked here my responses would apply more closly to me because we are using the same markers.
Thanks in advance.

well if u want a really good reg, I am not sure how it works on the senti though, is Palmers Persuit. They have the newly introduced fatty stab, which is low perssure, and some other great regs. Check out there website for more details.

I know i have been researching regs, but the only thing is though is that i dont really want to spend more than $70. And also i dont really like how the Palmers look, the asthetics arent the main thing im basing my opions on.

To tell you the truth, as long as you have a good tank you shouldn't really need to double reg a senti. Unless you have the older pin or the low pressure pin I doubt you will be able to take it down below 650psi. Even if you do get the low pressure pin, the only thing you will really gain is a reduced sound profile. I've never shot a full tank when running low pressure so I don't really know if the shot count will increase, but I doubt it will make that big of a difference. If your tank's reg isn't that great and you want to double reg for increased consistency and quiter operation, I would recommend the Torpedo. It's design is based off of the Stabilizer, making it consistant and reliable. I know a lot of people that have used them without ever encountering a problem.

So there is no point in getting a reg? I think i need some more opinions.
What does the diadem opperate at?
Also what can you get it down to with the low pressure pin which i have?
Well drakness your point is valid but does any one else here have an opinion about running a senti at a lower pressure?

There is a point. Your gun will be quieter and a little bit more consistent. With the low pressure pin, set your reg to around 350psi and then use the velocity adjuster to get it up (or down) to your desired velocity.

I have been using the Air America Vigilante and it works well. It has a fast recharge and works well most of the time. Problems: I have had to replace the pin valve in it once and the pin seal 3 times. You WILL be able to reg down your gun to about 500 PSI without mods. If you add a high flow valve pin and volumizer you can get down to 375-400 and put a lighter main spring in to reduce the recoil, that's were mine is right now. What ever reg you get make sure it has a guage port that will indicate output pressure of the reg, most reg ports a just on the other side of the input line and show input pressure.
