prophecy Z2 exalt speedfeed question

I am wondering how the NEW Exalt speedfeed for the prophecy work's? I have the empire speedfeed on mine now, but it uses magnets to keep closed, but the magnets aren't that strong!! Whenever i dive or slide the speedfeed pops open and my hopper empties, also the finger's are pretty stiff, so i end up having to open it to feed the hopper, also im so use to the Exalt on my ROTOR (which is SO easy to feed)!! So was wondering if anyone has used the Exalt speedfeed for the Z2, and if so could u tell me if it uses magnets, or is held strongly by spring tension? Basically could u let me kno how it work's and if it's better than the empire speedfeed? THANK YOU!!!!

I figured that because i love my Exalt on my ROTOR and the finger's are alike, so that's a plus, but my main problem and question is it magnetic like the empire one's? Because being a front player, i dive alot and the magnets don't hold good enough, so i was wondering if it's held closed by magnets or something stronger (like by a spring or something strong, so it won't pop open so easy)?

It uses a snap lid. I havn't been able to pop it open yet. It is VERY easy to load paint. I love love LOVE this speedfeed for the Prophecy.

The Exalts are great, personally though, I like the stock Empire speedfeed. It fits a little better and its mouth is just like a tiny tiny bit bigger. It pretty much feeds like the Exalt, but holds in paint much better, not to mention it just fits the hopper better. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE Exalts, I use them on all my other loaders (which is a lot), but on the Prophecy, I think Empire knocked it out of the park on this one. So obviously the Exalt would be my 2nd choice for the Prophecy, and not by much either, its a great speedfeed.

OLD FEEDBACK!

Why do people do this wanna-be hk thing? I mean hk people dont even play paintball, they just whine and start drama while wearing the ugliest stuff. Seriously you find light blue and pink to be attractive colors for your parents 1500 dollar investment (your gun/marker)? If you want to whine keep it off the field and save it for the internet; O wait! THATS EXACTLY WHAT YOU DO! Haha, if you don't play then don't whine.

I want your G6r parts and upgrades, sell them to me, because you wont get anything for them if you sell/trade them with the gun.

Cool, appreciate the Info, it's exactly what i wanted to kno!! Im so use to my Exalt on my ROTOR, the prophecies Exalt looked just as good, i just wanted to make sure before getting it that it was a snap lid and not held closed by magnets, because i really like the empire, but if u take a hard dive or anything, it popped open, that and i like less finger's (like the Exalt), otherwise i LOVED it, now there were alot of time's were the magnets came in REAL handy, and i kno after awhile the finger's on the empire would break-in, but i'm use to and LOVE the Exalt speedfeed, and NEVER had a issue w/ the finger's starting to sag or rip or anything, it's a great speedfeed IMO, and like wen the speedfeed is tightly secure (empire should have the option of using magnets or snap lid, and i kno i personally would have liked it alot more!!). But THANK YOU ALL for answering my question, i'm off to order a red one and white one right now!!

In another thread someone said and put a picture up of magnets they got from radioshack that fit the holes perfectly.

you must be doing something wrong when diving, ive never had that speedfeed pop open on any of my dives...ever.

is it closing all the way?

I think the empire speedfeed is great and the fingers dont seem too stiff. I have an exalt on my rotor and it works good, but like i said I felt no need in changing from the empire one.

It does let paint in a little easier than the empire one. One thing I didnt like about the empire one was podding while shooting always left paint on the outside rim. While not perfect, the exalt performs a little better in this aspect.

The friction snap never popped open on me when playing but it does feel considerably easier to open than the empire magnets. If you hold it upside down with just the friction snap and slap the loader it will pop open pretty easily. I drilled mine to use the empire magnets and it now feels quite a bit stronger than the empire feed.

If you have the empire feed I would just stick with it. If you dont have either I would get the exalt. Honestly unless you are super anal about your feed rate, spilling paint, or perhaps trying to accessorize I would probably just stick with the empire one.

im diving completly fine, the fiction lid does not snap very firmly, the exalt is beautiful if you vigorously shake it maybe two balls will com out and i get most of my pod in the hopper when i refill

I just got my Exalt in today.... I am real unhappy with it...The rear magnet hole is way to big for the Proph. magnets to hold. It does snap which is nice but the fingers are already sagging down....I will just wait and get the spine when it's released next week. And I am glad you guys are not having issues with yours and I do love my exalys on my reloaders and halos but not on my Z2

Wow, i'm surprised to hear that the exalt is sagging already. You can get a hold of them and they will more than likely replace it for you.

With the design in the fins does it really matter also if there is any sag? With balls loaded and turned upside down does it hold or let them all out.

I just bought the empire speed feed and they are way stiff, is there a break in period? When I load about half the pod goes in and the rest hits the ground

You kind of have to learn to shake the hopper and dump paint at the same time to use the Empire one fully.

Thats what I did but I felt it hurt my game, and I see the russians use them and it seems it just dumps right in.
