Barrel Question

I've noticed that there is a little gap between the breach and where the barrel starts on my LT. I took the O-ring off the back of the barrel to lessen the gap. Can this gap cause barrel breaks? Even with the O-ring off, there's still a bit, but not nearly as bad as it was.

Thanks, and is it recommended that I use an O-ring on the barrel?

I think if you dont use the oring your barrel may come loose if you shoot your gun.

While this may be true, I had the opposite happen with my Pipe. I didn't notice it was missing an o-ring and it was really stuck together. Although, the Pipe's backs and tips are known for getting stuck together. More than usual.

the oring on the barrel helps prevent the barrel from vibrating loose due to the vibrations of the gun operating
