Rules & Stuff:
I have no feedback as I've never had to buy or sell here, however I'm an adult business owner who will go out of his way to provide transaction safety to the buyer. We can discuss this further when we agree on a trade/price.
I am ONLY looking for a sale, G6R, Geo 2 or Geo 2.1. I'm a bit picky on colors so please don't be offended if yours isn't for me. I feel $850 is a reasonable place to start for trade value but will be fair and reasonable about matching trade value with your item. {Value of my army to a Warhammer crowd would range from $750 to $1,000}
I will pay to ship my item and you will pay to ship yours. I assure you I'm getting the short end of the stick!
Hello my fellow Orks! Up for sale is my complete 3,000+ point painted army with a considerable amount of tournament legal conversions. The army won 1st place in my local league in both painting AND overall tournament points. Core components {Ghazghkull Conversion/ Mek/ BattlewagonsX4/ Meganobz/ Lootaz/ Kommandos/ Shoota Boyz/ Slugga Boyz/ Gretchin} fit into 90%+/- setups and the extras {2nd Warboss/Dok/Wierdboy/Nobz} add a bit of flexibility and personal taste.
The term "Pro Painted" is grossly over used so I'll refrain. I come from a long line of professional artists and like to believe I have a steady hand. This army is painted well with extra detail given to Tanks, HQ and a mix or Elites/Boyz. At an absolute minimum, all painted models are at a Tournament standard. There are a few models not painted due to me filling a list last minute a few weeks ago.
If you have read this far, you know a well painted army is worth far more than a "new in box" unassembled army. The new cost of this lot is roughly $750.
The auction contains the following,
Ork Codex: Brand spanking new. Corners are crisp and spine isn't even creased. I had to buy it to be tournament legal last month.
Ghazghkull Thraka Conversion: AoBR Warboss with conversions. Tournament legal.
Warboss: Painted to a high standard. Won a local competition.
Mad Dok Grotsnik: Painted to a high standard.
Mek and Dok: Both are green and older models.
Meganobz X 10: Tournament legal converted Black Orcs. Include Shootas/Skorchas/Rokkit Launchas and Power Klaws or equivalent. Most are fully painted to a high standard.
Lootas X 09: Fully painted.
Kommandoz X 10: Most are converted Fantasy Savage Orks. Painting contest winners. Includes 2 Burna Boyz and 2 Burna Boyz converted to archers. Cool looking models. All tournament legal. Just used them in Ard' Boyz.
Shoota Boyz X 19 + Nob: Painted. Includes 2 with Big Shootas. Some have minor tournament legal conversions. Mostly Elite model head replacements. I'm not a fan of most standard Boyz heads so I bought Burna and Stormboyz heads instead.
Slugga Boyz X 19 + Nob: Painted.
Shoota/Slugga Boys X 19 + Nob: These models have dual pistols {legal to use as Shootas OR Sluggas!}. Includes 2 with Rokkit Launchas.
Gretchin X 15 + Runtherd: Not painted.
Gretchin X 15 + Runtherd: Not painted.
Few extra Nobz: Mostly not painted. I finished my league without ever needing them.
4 Battlewagons: 2 fully painted conversions and 2 not painted. I left the 2 non heavy converted Wagons without paint so you can modify them however you like before priming/painting. I'm including ALL the bits in the box for BOTH Battlewagons. I left them bare-bones with converted Deff Rollas as that's how I run them in tournaments. Once again, everything they came with is included in box. Painted Wagons are a tournament legal converted Land Raider & heavily converted but legal Vindicator} The Land Raider includes Grots manning all guns and some Orky glyphs. The Vindicator has a ton of conversions including 3 Kopta blades angled on front as a Deff Rolla, extra blades mounted inside, manned heavy weapons on top, open top cut-out and heat vents for Kopta blades. This model won a painting competition.
A Big Box of Bitz and Snow Flocking: What kind of auction wouldn't include a big box of bits??!! You'll find all kinds of stuff from Fantasy Savage Orc stuff to Space Marine and Ork weapons. I'm also including snow flocking if you like the cold theme.
Why are they BLUE you ask??? Orks can be whatever the H they want! Ok... I'll explain my reasoning. My local 40k scene has a lot of Ork players. I wanted an Ork army of my own that was designed with the intent to wreck other Ork players. The idea came about that these Orks come from a frozen planet and have no love for smelly tropical greenskins. The only exception is Mad Dok Grotsnik who is clearly out of his mind and fits in just fine even though he's green.
How have I been playing them? I use a Ghazghkull/Mad Dok HQ setup at 2,500 points. {I know, where's the Mek with KFF!!??} Don't use one but one is included if you would like to. With Mega Nobz as Troops, I play 4 Battlewagons spread out, all of them loaded with Troops. Ghaz and the Dok usually come in with Snikrot and the Kommandos on the other players table edge {100% legal}. Looks like this,
HQ: Ghaz & Mad Dok
Elite: Kommandos, Lootas
Troops: Boyz, Boyz, Boyz, Gretchin, Gretchin, Mega Nobz {Dedicated Battlewagon}
Fast: None
Heavy: Battlewagon, Battlewagon, Battlewagon
