Leaks from front/back set screws

Hey guys, I have a leak coming from either one of the screws in front and back of my IR3... I used to know what these screws were called but have forgotten their name since then.

Anyways, it would leak from the back one, then if I screwed it in/out to stop that the one in the front would start leaking and vice versa. It's just a small leak but a leak all the same. Any suggestions in how to stop it? I put loctite on it but it didn't seem to help any.

Those are just blanking plug screws for the LP air transfer tube. They're M5 metric threaded. The one has nothing to do with the other, so the leaks are independent of one another. Loctite should be sufficient to stop them from leaking. Make sure that you give any thread locker at least 12 hours to cure.

Oh that's probably why, it's the first time I've used loctite and I waited less than an hour for it to set. Tried resealing it and the leak is almost gone, you can only hear it if you listen closely.

Does it make any difference how screwed in or out the blanking plug screws are?

They should be flush, or just a little bit past, but it doesn't matter too terribly much.

Should of used Blue. The only time you use red is for feednecks.

The manual states those get high strength, which for me is red.

They use red from the factory, but it's a bit overkill, especially if you ever need access to them again (which for blanking screws is actually pretty unlikely, unless you anodize the gun). Either one will do the job.
