G3 7th Element board in E1

Anyone got one to fit yet? I tried today, but the rear screw that holds the frame onto the body gets in the way of the speaker on the 7th Element board.

The large screw through the front reg mount seems to hold the grip onto the body quite securely, so hopefully it'll work fine leaving the smaller screw at the back out.

Uh, you need to have your frame bolted on with 2 screws. Enough "slight" movement is going smack your noid around and eventually give you headache.

Plus the weight of your tank and other stresses may result in that little screw breaking.

your right shru but the fun you get of shooting out a player with a $1000,- marker is just to great against the cost of a E1

Yeah, we were just playing around with the E1. The APE board fits perfectly, and together with a TechT L7 G3 bolt, makes for a very sweet little marker.

We also had a stock G4 board which fits just about perfectly in the E1 - only thing is the on/off button is just too short so you gotta use an allen key to turn it on and off.

Just cant believe DP brings out a budget marker that has 2 totally useless modes stock.

The E1 will work with an APE G3 board, but I don't think the OLED will work in the E1.

And TechT is modifying their G3 Bolt Engine to work in the E1.

I think an E1 with an APE board, TechT bolt engine, and a good barrel kit, would be quite a marker.

The first thing I would do is get an APE board in it so you will be able to play any style of paintball you want, and be legal. The second thing I would do is get a REV-i barrel kit from DP and have it anodized to match the marker. I would rock that setup until TechT comes out with a Bolt Engine for it.

Even though you may end up having $400 in the marker, you won't have to spend the money all at once. And when your finished, you'll have a nice little marker.

Agreed but I would definently need a clamping feedneck

We've got APE Rampage G4 boards in stock - they seem to fit in the E1 perfectly - just the on/off switch too short so you need to use an allen key or something to turn it on.

Is it safe to run a G4 board in the E1? Or are there some other differences between the G3 and G4 board?

I recently got a Dp E1 and so far have upgraded the barrel to a carbon auto cocker the stock one is ok but not great. Next i have put the tech 3 bolt in it and i plan on getting a ape oled. With just the bolt and barrel its is easily better than a g3-g4 stock. the way i look at it is that a e1 with upgrades will be just as god as most others on the field. the only down side is that its not as good luck looking

why buy an e1 to upgrade it

$70 board turns an e1 into a $280 gun

next is the feedneck for $20 min and bam you spent $300 when you could have bought a g4 that has a raps, good feedneck, nice trigger, nice board, better bolt system.

ediT: dont get me wrong, the e1 is a nice gun for the price as long as you leave it stock.. putting money into it just cost to much imo.

Damn you just about owned the argument with that but I gotta admit I own a E1 and an ego8 with that matter empire barrel kit yadayadayada but I bought it bc I was kinda noob(knowledge wise) nd didn't know about minis and used g4's nd It makes me so angry I bought it I have tons of problems with my INtagrated ASA and I'm really hoping the bolt engine will make it a nice little shooter I want to have a nice back up if anyone has this setup please post a video of it I want to see real bad let me know or pm

That's a bit of a stretch... My little bro has a friend who has a dust 'clear' E1, and it looks simple but sleek. It wouldn't win any beauty contests, though.
