it came...now i'm about to.

my ccm frame just arrived, but one of the screws is 3/8" and won't thread down into my body enough. needs to go in about .

is the front threaded hole on the body supposed to accept the long screw? the threads look a little rough, but my stock frame fit on just fine.

anyone else have this issue?

i guess i'll just make a trip down to the hardware store and hope for the best.

the screws shouldn't be going thru the frame holes at all, the frame slides onto the screws

also your body threads may be too worn down.

I had the same issue with both my CCM frames. I had to file the Allen screw down a little bit to get it to work.

yeah i understood how the frame was attached. i'm assuming it's my body threads. doesn't effect anything, still have a lot of the screw threading in.

some careful bench grinding with a little sanding and they fit perfect.

actually, the heads appeared to be a shorter profile than my stock wgp frame screws; which wouldn't slide all the way into the hide-a-screw slots.

also, i'm really happy i went with the thick frame. it's not very thick at all, actually. :yup:

pictures will be up in the picture thread sooner or later.

Also, rear frame screws can often be custom lengths, depending on the frame.
