Sorry guys I haven't been around a computer to post things up. Got caught up . The stuff holds up awesome! I took some hits to the mask and hopper and they held up perfectly. The thing you don't want to do is jam the hopper into a feed neck that has a real gnarly metal grating like the luxe. All the other feed necks are fine. It's just the neck gets caught on the metal in luxe feed necks and scratches it . The gun will be done tomorrow and posted up. Ill be creating a post filled some design possibilities and posting it tonight I promise

Can you provide some more information about the finish? is it stickers or paint or duracoat?

The process is known as hydrodipping or hydrographics. A special film is layed over a tank of water, (of course after the prep work is done to the material being dipped) the activator is sprayed over the material Which is then turned into a liquid state. It then adheres to the pores of the base coat. So technically this is neither stickers, nor paint (duracoat is paint to me as well). After this is done, the object undergoes a rinsing stage where the residue is rinsed. Proper time is allowed for the object to thoroughly dry (usually over night). After that depending on the use of the object a clear coat that is best suited for the environment and conditions that the piece would expeirience (i.e. objects such as car parts exposed to high heat would receive a high heat/high friction clear coat just as if it were painted in an automotive shop. Objects such as paintball masks/hoppers/guns, we're using a special clear coat that is meant to take a beating. Thus preventing chipping/peeling provided that you don't beat the hell out of the object)
Any other questions I can answer guys? Please feel free to ask!

Awesome that is the kinda info I was looking for
A few more questions
1. Can you take user provided patterns, if so what are the requirements
2. Can you do barrels/bodies without affecting internal hone or tolerances? (I.e. masking off areas or the like)
3. Can you provide some price ranges (even if its $xx and up for a mask, etc..)
4. If you do multiple parts (barrel and body) is the pattern continuous or will it be separate for each piece
5. Can this go over chrome? dust finish?
more to come later most likely, very interested.

The user provided patterns, I'll have to check on that and see about pricing and guidelines!
Base Prices are as follows for general stuff:
Masks : $40.00+ return shipping (complexity of design increases cost)
Hoppers : $40.00 + return shipping (again complexity of design increases cost)
Guns: $75.00 + return shipping (complexity of design increases cost)
We can do any finish that a paint job can be done in. I will check on the ability to do the oil slick deal and the chrome stuff. However that we would have to do as an automotive paint which would hold up similar to this!
This CAN go over any form of finish.
Parts will be masked off in order to prevent any effect on the functional parts of the equipment!

i have had a gun done like this and its not bad, they can take hits but scratch easy! I always thought more hydrographic companies should reach out to the paintball community.

Depends on how you treat the gear man! And depends on the clear coat!

Thanks for the input

the only issue i realized when doing it is it adds layers. so some parts will not fit together the same as they were originally. I am not trying to talk this process down because i never had more comment on my gun than before i had mine done by someone local to me.

Once again depends on the clear coat used and I understand man! If its an issue I'm sure it can be fixed!
