I think, if pball is indeed as hurting as it looks to me, anyone who wouldn't support a streetball event needs to give their head a shake. Something like that here would be great, and something I'd seriously consider supporting. I know where many of my old team mates have went, but all the familiar faces I used to know a events are all gone as well (from what I hear) and I can't imagine they left because they fell out of love with the sport. Hell, I left paintball angry and frustrated, but never once did I deny how much I loved it.
Like I said earlier, we used to get pretty large turnouts on open and grinder (practice) days. Those numbers must be out there, somewhere? If the larger events of the area are pulling 40 teams like I've heard (is this true?) where are all those players hiding?
As for UWL, man that looks just like the videos I'd watch as a kid. There was a practice scene on PUSH that looks pretty much like that, minus the rocket launchers haha.

If you ever want to ball, hit me up and 'll see if I can get away from my office and hit the field again. Government work is awesome money where I am now, but it sure keeps me busy.
Lots of the old players left the same way.

Name's Garrett M/Z (Depends on how you know me lol), I've played for a few teams, but more lately within the S.A. Slingers.
Although I haven't really played in awhile, I've been so damn busy with work and University. Now I basically play when it's convinient for me. It's likely we've met, but never been formally introduced, I know most people around here, but generally remain unknown.

I'm terrible with names but pretty good with faces. My name is Graham. When I left I was on the Outcast rosters, but before that I played for a few different teams (Uprising, Havoc etc). Played the MR series '03-'07.
I'm going to see how the Bragg Creek day goes before I get to worked up. I have my gear (minus pack) but am looking into guns.

My team's series has been getting about 12-16 3man Young Guns teams per event, plus another 12-16 5man Rookie teams on top of that. It's based in the London area, with a couple teams coming from Windsor and the majority coming from the London-Brantford-GTA area, and some even coming from as far as Kingston. I would love to see more local Windsor teams coming out, especially in the Young Guns division since there's only one group of young guns, I think kids don't realize how easy it is to enter these events, all you need is two teammates and $100 for entry.
This Sunday coming up will be the last day for outdoor airball at my local field, I'm hoping there will be a good turnout. I've been hearing more talk lately about some of the players from a few years ago coming back.
that's a pretty decent turnout for a one-day event man, well done.
I've been a fan of the spool guns since my 1st Matrix (2k2 Gen-E) and the two DM4's I had. Looking into picking up a DM9/10. Thoughts?
I'm building a super legit shocker you can shoot lol.
The DM9 and on haven't really changed beyond some comsmetics and the newer frame on the 11+. They're still solid guns though, and cn be found for cheap.

I might just have an old 09 empire liquid hinge pack you can have if I can find it. And a streetball type event seems like a great idea. Might have to talk to Brian about that.
Ohhh, is it silver? I had a team mate that had one of those.
I was never much of a SP fan back in the day. Had to listen to Chance sing the praises of the mighty Smart Parts too often ;p. One of my buddies still has his Nasty Impulse though and that thing was pretty gnarly.
C2, if I get back into the game and that pack will fit a gronk-size dude (38" waist, 240lbs) I'd consider purchasing it from you.
