starter is in, truck starts faster than most gassers ive seen. never thought a diesel could start that fast. hell, to tell the truth i doubt i even really need to motor running, that starter spins fast as hell... woot

not if you plug em in. the new ones basically wont start when it gets cold if they aint plugged in. but typically on the older diesels like mine, if your return lines, glow plugs and starter are in good shape itll start every day of the year

we only ever had to plug our 04 duramax in once but it was around -10* or lower. Never had to plug in the 08 duramax
