I'm not going to get all defensive and crazy here, but I had to reply to this one. I may have a reputation for taking longer than planned on a few projects, but DO NOT have a reputation for not sending back parts. I did do some work for several others who, unfortunately, had deals go south. Everything was held up on my end though, and even if I weren't able to do something, I'd send all parts back, including reimbursing the shipping costs.

It would be, but I can't do it know. I no longer have my CAM software that most of my work was created in. Right now my new work is very limited. Hope to change that someday, but for now I wish I could help you.

And just to further support this I just got my body back and the turnaround was well within a month from my door to Marc, and then back to me.

Like Tarantula, I'd also like to clear the air a bit. Yes, I've been slow at times, and yes, unfortunately I've had a few deals go bad on me. Sometimes they were no fault of my own, more than a few I had nobody to blame but myself.
A fair chunk of it, too, was simply that I had more to do than I had time for- and I was, and remain, a one-man shop.
However, the Economy has taken care of some of that part for me ( ) and some of the rest has been helped with more and better machines. (I still don't have anything CNC, but I've tripled the number my machines in the last three or four years.
I'm still here, still modding markers, still ankle deep in aluminum chips.
On that Angel, 90% of it is easy. The three gills up front and the four in the door are straight cuts with a ball-end mill, or cut in from the side with a 1/4" endmill. Neat to look at, but personally, I don't really like the exposed barrel threads, and I especially don't like the exposed bolt. (The white part at the bottom of the gills in the door is a white delrin bolt.)
The swoopy milling on the back half looks to have been done by hand. Note the ridge in the middle where the hinge pin goes. The top half of that, just behind the door, has been ground down. Somebody did that "milling" with a die grinder and files.
The volumizers up front, the ASA and the breech knob are all old DYE parts. The feed neck is probably one of the old super-tall KAPP "smokestacks" from back when everybody thought a taller stack of balls would feed faster. The trigger's a stocker that's been filed down and drilled with "speed holes".
Basically, if you wanted an exact duplicate, it'd be easy. But I don't think you'd be happy with the exposed parts- especially since you'd almost certainly be losing a lot of air through the open breech door. (Plus it'd probably start to scuff and look bad within a few hundred shots.)
Making the same cuts, but "closed" can still be done, but would be a little harder. So depending on how detailed you want to get, I could duplicate that for somewhere in the ballpark of a couple hundred, not counting anno. (That gun's probably only been bead-blasted, or more likely, stripped and sanded.)
If you're interested, I have a line on a complete, but non-working (most likely because they can't charge the battery) stock LCD for less than $100. It's kinda scuffed, but since everything would be getting stripped, milled, polished and reannoed, who cares?
And, if you're interested in some of my recent work, here's a write up over on MCB detailing a recent LED project I've been working on over the last couple of months.

Doc, that LED build looks great. it's a wonder what you can accomplish with the right tools and skills.
I spent about 4 hours making a no-tray for my viking yesterday... jig saw, drill press, hand drill, file, sandpaper, elbow grease. You could've probably done all that in 5 minutes.
And I will put in a good word for Tarantula too. Quality work. always kept me updated. see before and after pics below. and a few more pics here: http://s658.beta.photobucket.com/use...library/viking

Just want to point out that I wasn't trying to be an ******* by saying that Doc can be slow on the turnaround. I completely understand it's just a reflection of the workload, etc. Probably could have stated it a bit more delicately. I've always thought highly of your work. WARPIG, PBNation and Doc's custom work page were among my earliest paintball bookmarks.

I can't believe it, but I never realized that was a white bolt. Just figured the tube on the rotobreech had been left intact. That would definitely make for a much better show piece than it would a functional gun.

The feedneck was from a 2K Dark Angel LCD. IMO, the DYE low rise or Adrenalin high rise would look better. I think the Nymph's appeal is similar to the Ironmen's - they have that hour-glass shape.

I wonder if you could teflon coat the inside of that machined tube. I was looking into frictionless materials at one time and thought about teflon. I'm not really sure on how long it could last, but it would be cool. Delrin might also work as well. Just food for thought.

There was a fellow in the Voided Warranty section who was offering, IIRC, a friction reducing ceramic coating a long time ago.

-Theoretically, sure, although the metal would get awful thin at the bottom of the breech block. Personally, I'd simply mill the gills slightly shallower, and leave a thin wall of the original metal there.

-The bolt is already Delrin, and the inner bore of the breech is coated with aluminum oxide- that is, anodizing. Aluminum oxide is very, very hard (formed into grains, it makes up the abrasive in sandpaper) and Delrin, like Teflon, is "self lubricating" and very slick. Together the coefficient of friction is about as low as you can expect without going to exotic materials.
Keeping the breech and bolt clean is far more worthwhile than trying to install some sort of bore liners or apply some kind of exotic antifriction compounds. Even if you had a teflon bolt and Ti-Nitrided stainless steel liner in the breech, if it gets dirt in there from a bunker slide, it'll still get scored and galled.

Violent Products at one time was making teflon bolts for intimidators. I found a new one when I lived in Mississippi and bought it mostly out of novelty. it's slicker than snot. You could probably do the same thing for an angel but I found the teflon to be softer than delrin.
plus the price Doc threw out for the work is pretty fair IMO. and speaking of work I'm looking for somebody to drill a couple cocker bodies for e-blade eyes and eye covers... there was something else I was looking to get done in the near future but that seems to have slipped my mind for the time being. I have too many projects, not enough time, and other things I'd rather throw money at.
