^There is the best answer yet. Play with the G3, it's not terrible, and all the upgrades in the world will not make it perform any better than it would out of the box. Instead of spending a bunch of money to upgrade a mediocre marker, play play play and then when you start feeling like you understand a bit about how a marker works, and what type of performance you can/should expect out of a marker, then look at buying a new higher end marker that would fullfill your desires...it's very often cheaper to go that route even when you think of buying a $1000 marker.

Upgrades rarely increase performance enough to notice, but they suck your wallet dry pretty easily. $40 here, $100 there, $50 on that, $60 on one of those...before you know if, you bought a Luxe without thinking about it.

why not used barrels are not bad i have bought a few used barrels on this site no issues.

Well if you want to spend the extra money, go for it. But I bought everything off of the BST here. My tank, mask, and pod pack were all new (used once or twice), but way cheaper than if i were to buy them brand new.

It's a great resource, and you should use it.

The first upgrade you should do is get a after market barrel. All the other bells and whistles dont matter as much as getting a new and improved barrel. Good luck to you and if you ever need any help with anything feel free to PM me.

Don't listen to the guy that say don't stuff off pbn. It's much better since the gears going to get dirty anyway but buy them mint and try keeping them clean. Most important upgrade to your gun is the right barrel and good paint that matches. Just make sure the barrel and paint matches. IMO, I get a barrel where and make sure the ball is just right in the barrel where it won't slide right through when put in, but not to tight, the ball should go through with you just blowing through it. My favorite paint is the valken redemption. It's my favorite.
