I'm about to try to fry some fish. I've never done this before so this will be a first for me. For spring break I'll be the "chef" of the group and I told them I will fry some fish, cook hamburgers, and a few other things. Hamburgers I'm not worried about. I'm not worried about the other stuff either. But the fish and shrimp have me worried. Guess it's time to practice.
I won't be using the Mac if I even get one for school. I still have this laptop and another 10" one I bought strictly for school use.

Grill fish?
Can't you just put them in tin-foil and throw them on the grill.

What did you use for the batter? If your doing a fish and chip kind of style fish get seltzer or beer along with the batter and just fry it and it should come up to the top when it's done pretty much. Nice and golden

A really simple batter, if you're not sure how to go about it, is 2 parts flour to 1 part corn meal. Then toss in some spices (Creole Seasoning/season all type of stuff) and dip the fish in milk and then that stuff.

I use a seltzer or beer instead of milk. Makes it lighter.

You could do that or instead get a plank of cedar and grill it on that. Has a nice wood taste

I hate fish but gotta get it eaten all the same. I grill it and just throw it in with brown rice.
Only time I like fish is when it's wrapped up in a sushi roll

I've had grilled fish before and it wasn't that great in my opinion. I love it fried though.

Use Shawn's mix, but butter milk, instead of regular milk. Don't over cook it.

I'm jaded against that movie because the book is so incredibly different and that's what I started with when I was a kid.
The Omega Man was the original try at the movie from the book and was pretty cool. Charlton Heston was a boss

The movies are never the same. I have the book Black Hawk Down and I'm sure it will vary a little. I know many of the characters in the movie weren't real.
