ok...heres an idea. can you push the poppit in the valve all the way, then cut the oring on that side of the valve to allow the poppit to be removed? not sure if the opening will be large enough after the oring is removed...but its worth a shot. |

No real reason is there...other than to maybe save the poppit. Chances are both are damaged...I would think. |

Good idea - it is worth a shot. If he can get the poppet stem through, better make sure sure not to cut the valve internal o-ring in the process of cutting that other one off.

Possible that they are both damaged but also possible to salvage both. The big unknown is did the poppet stem get bent?

I have only had my Fusion apart once so far. I take it the larger end of the poppit is suppose to go towards the hole to stop/allow air right? |
