Sooo... Thinking about a VR6 mk3/mk4(24v) or a mk4 1.8T
Which one? What mods should I get and in what order? I'd like to turbo the VR6 eventually and maybe an aftermarket turbo on the the 1.8 since I hear reliability issues with the 1.8 stock turbos and to get more power. Or is there another car I should look into?

Yeah I figured the we're trolling but I didn't want to be all high on my horse or nothing... Trolls...
Also thanks low budget hero. Biggest problem for me is finding one of the 24V vr6s. I can find a plethora of 1.8s. However I'm fine with going into the engine because I know a few people who have probably worked on dozens of gti one of which being my cousin even has his own little "warehouse" of vw parts no after marker stuff besides seats really but if I do have some problem somewhere he can always help me fix it. Also I kinda wanted it be somewhat of a sleeper since I figure most people see a mk3 gti and figure it's just some POS or just a normal daily driver. Id really love to embarrass this dude who has a m3... But that'd prolly be 10k later in building I'd imagine.

Get a 1.8, 3inch exhaust, turbo, ecu flash call it a day and run it until it dies standard operating procedure for turbos because I feel helpful today.
