I don't believe companies, whomever they are, are being stopped from selling paint. I think they just do not want to or do not think that they need to ? ? If they have to drop 45k to be a part of PSP maybe its not in the budget to drop another sponser fee in order to get into NPPL?

If this is a serious issue then there is no hope for society.
I'd rather take the 2 seconds to take the packet out and have "dry" paint than the other way around.

when your in the pit rushing to get loaded up and ready for the next point I can see how it can easily happen. Paints been shipped for how long with out the packages and there havent been issues. Its just cause this is made in china and sits for so long before it gets here

I think it would be interesting to see all teams play with paint from one manufacturer! It takes away the excuse of "the paint was crap" because everyone had to use the same paint!

3. Once the merger talks fell apart what were the major decisions KEE had to make regarding
sponsorship?
John Robinson: We remained committed to our position that we would only sponsor one league. That didn’t and doesn’t mean we won’t support both leagues. There is a difference in the two terms. But it was important to us to understand and discuss a “vision” with both leagues and then sponsor the league that best matches our views and direction on growing the sport. To do that, there must be a tie back to our grass roots efforts. In short, our marketing plan for new players has to ultimately point to a league and its players.
4. PSP Press Release – why choose them?
John Robinson: The PSP knows who they are. They are committed to a format, a structure, locations and they have a clear vision for the areas they want to grow and improve. In our discussions with the PSP, I was convinced what they want to do and what KEE wants to do and that has the potential to be a very good match.
5. What does this mean for the NPPL?
John Robinson: In short, we will not sponsor the NPPL. However, we will support our teams, partners and customers within the guidelines of the NPPL. We will certainly send our Techs to events and support those that own Empire branded equipment. We will not display or sell our products at the events.

isnt valken not going to sell paint at psp because they want a ridiculous ammount.
maby instead of that they focused all there money on nppl and now they are the sole paint provider at nppl....... probably not but i would laugh. psp is greedy askin 45 g's to sell paint, thats would mean selling roughly 10 skids for little to no profit after expenses. cant blame valken for not payin them, good move if u ask me. they should all boycot psp until they are reasonable

I don't think that paintball is their only business...and I get a sense that they still make decent money that you don't necessarily see, because it's all in accessories and not guns or big things like that. I also believe that they are contracted to do some distribution as well (I don't know for sure though, I'm just basing that off of seeing a few other products in their tent at events)

this.
I get the argument that things go fast in the pits, but those packs aren't too small...at least all the ones I've seen (Valken, APX). I feel like they'd get jammed in whatever opening they are trying to get through, especially speedfeeds or loader lids...

APX GEAR will supply paint for 2012 Surf City USA Open.
APX Gear LLC is proud to announce that we will be supplying paint for the NPPL Super 7 Surf City Open in Huntington Beach, California. General Manager Alex Keys had this to say, "We are excited to work with the NPPL to supply paintfor the Surf City Open as well as the 2012 season, and we would like to thank the NPPL and staff for allowing us to supply a premium paintball at an affordable price point to players and teams of the NPPL."
APX Gear LLC was founded in 2008 with the soul purpose of producing high quality American made paintballs. Our mission statement of, "Pure form, Pure function, Pure necessity" ties to our belief in providing quality products at the lowest possible cost.
Both tried and tested and numerous regional events, we believe that our Agro Pro and Fyre Competition lines of paintballs are a perfect fit for the 2012 NPPL season. With that being said, we can't wait for teams from around the country to try out our paint and use it for the rest of the 2012 season.

- No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
- Do not post "1st post", "1st", "First post" or anything similar (or with any other number) at any point in a thread, even if you post a comment too. It is really annoying and it will result in a ban.
