Ego8/Sl8r LPR Adjustor piston

I'm currently on the look for this item, does anyone know where to find it? It is not the LPR piston itself, but a small silver cup-like part that goes between one of the springs and the adjuster screw. I'm in desperate need of this.

I can't find it anywhere though

Hmm I remember Bill at Paintball Showcase use to have them for the 06 atleast. I just checked and didn't see any on his site. You might try emailing him.

I talked to Bill too, he has all the parts for the LPR except the adjuster piston

Hmm that's no bueno.. I guess your next best bet would be to look through b/s/t like misc and gearbag threads for a part out. Hope you find it!

This will work. If you get the longer spring and the SL piston to go with it like the SL8R. http://paintballshowcase.com/planete...onscr ew.aspx

The internals are definitely interchangeable I switched the internals from my SL8R and 08 LPR before to try and figure out an issue with my 08 over pressurizing so I know they fit and work.

If PE don't have the part you could always go this route $25

Honestly if you can't find one a small metal shim will work perfectly fine. The only reason it is there is so the grub screw won't slip inside the spring. Provided the diameter of the shim is larger than that of the spring you should be golden until you find a legitimate replacement

What if I just get an 09 lpr cap and internals? I haven't actually even bought any of the lpr parts just yet, and only have the fixed lpr cap/internals for my SL8r, wouldn't that work too?

I don't see why that wouldn't work. You would just need to make sure you have the correct piston and you should be good.

Only reason I ask is because I found this picture.

Looks like the SL8r LPR internals, minus the screw itself. If this is it then I could just go with the sl8r parts and put it in an 08/09 lpr cap. Unless there's a part that I'm not seeing.

Where I live, we have a store that specializes in bolts and such. I would check there because it is basically an Allen set-screw. If that is the right part that you are talking about.

I don't mean the screw that adjusts the LPR itself. I found an image of what I'm looking for. It's not very specific, but I boxed what I need.

Ah, I see. Basically it is the cup that the screw presses on. I have also found that the adjuster screw is actually specialty and contains an o-ring on it.

Precisely. And unless the SL8r lpr internals do without this item, I'm screwed with just the preset LPR. Yes, it works, but I like tuning my egos a lot.

I pulled this directly from PE's website and Ego08 Manual. What it shows me is that it is actually the piston that is between there. What do you think? Sorry my photo editting sucks.

No that's perfect, that's exactly what I need. I basically have all the other parts, I just need that one little piece, and I can't find it. If the sl8r internals bypass that part though I'll be equally happy.

the 09 piston is different than the sl8r if the Sl8r is based on the 08 ego lpr. the 09 has a hole drilled in the top part for the smaller spring to rest in. just buy an entire 09 assembly and you will be set.. the 09 cap will not work with the sl internals i believe.

That is what I would go with until I am able to find an '08 piston.

So just get an 09 cap and lpr assembly? Sounds reasonable enough.
