PM5 regulator settings help

just picked up a PM5 in mint but dirty shape. I tore it down and other than a cleaning and relube, everything looked perfect. It did fire before the tear down and before I test fire after the clean n lube, I need to know what the starting points are for the lpr and also the Hyper inline reg? I did see some mentioning approx. 4 turns out for the LPR as a good starting point but haven't seen anything for the Hyper inline..... anyone confirm or suggest starting point settings?

thanks,
Ron

Just turn the HPR all the way in, and start from zero. You kind of need a chrono for this.

so start w/LPR 4 turns out and the hpr all the way in and go from there. I have access to a chrono. Is there an actual step by step test and adjust procedure for this?

This Is how I do mine

Set dwell to 18-21
Set LPR ~4 turns out
Set HPR to shoot desired FPS
Turn LPR all the way in and start backing out till you don't see too much fluctuation in FPS

This thread explains how to fine-tune the regs, which is exactly what you want to be doing right now.

excellent! Just what I need!!!

one question though; when it says "right now my dwell is 18, lpr is 4.....", does that mean the lpr is 4 turns out?
