I wanted to buy an orange ego11 but a few people have told me that orange is an illegal color. Is this true?

No, orange is not a protected color just yellow

the protected color is in the rulebook. states that yellow is protected since its the color of the paint used.


on a side note: it used to be orange and/or yellow a few years ago because they kept switching back n forth between fills or had both lol. ive heard some people say orange is still protected but you should be fine with an orange ego.

nppl rules will allow orange (as stated yellow is the protected color).
word of warning orange was at one point protected, as was pink. They seem to change it up & it is possible orange may one day again become a protected color.

From what I remember at the big intro into the season at HB last year was that you could be in a orange onesie and it would be okay but the slightest piece of orange you couldn't wear.

Day after I saw several people wearing Rockstar jerseys and older XSV yellow jersey's and they were fine. lol.

Still yellow is the protected color of the NPPL for this year, you can wear something yellow but chances are you will be asked to kindly remove it or put duct tape over it. Same thing with guns.
