Don't like the 1 series. Never have. Its proportions are weird.
A8Ls are pretty cool, Vin, but after my current experience I am done with expensive (sticker) German cars with no warranty for a while. I go on lots of rides/cruises/ect with friends in the summer. I have a lot of fun doing that, so thus I want something that is fun in that type of environment. My M5 is perfect for that. I realize what I get will be a downgrade in that respect, but I'd still like something that can hold its own. I haven't driven the '12 GT yet, but I am guessing 415hp should be enough. Handling will not be as good, but oh well.

Gotcha, was figuring you could possibly get one with an extended warranty or something. New GT seems like a fun car, not sure if it would be a little small on the inside for you but it would probably be a better fit than the Z.

I was afraid of that, but I drove my friends GT500 last weekend and it was much more comfortable than I expected. The dash and everything is pure plastic, and fake leather and stuff, but I was fit fine and the seat was pretty comfortable for me. Downside was it was a little hard to see out of, but I didn't take the time to mess with the mirrors, so maybe that could improve. Also feels huge and not as stable as the M. I highly doubt anything in this price range will be as stable as the M is.

I'd just look into the GT500 then, you fit well in it, it is within your budget and really, it is still a lot faster than the majority of the cars on the road.

I'm seeing if I can find one. I would really really prefer to trade my car in, so I need a GT500 locally. If a black one happens to pop up, I will probably buy it. GT500 is faster than my car for sure (in a straight line at least), and stupid easy to make even more power. I'm not sure the car needs it though, tbh.

Kinda want to try reading The Idiot in Russian, my professor offered to lend me her Russian copy of it. It's my favorite book of all time and I figure I should probably learn a bit reading a 650+ page book.

Pete, get a newer GT. Probably one of the best cars for the money if you wanna buy new. They're still quick and handle decent.
Also miatas are incredibly fun to drive, but you'd be way too ****ing cramped in one. The hype is there because they're great platforms, modifications are dirt cheap, and they're reliable.

Started learning it about a year and a half ago, mostly through the Russian program at my school but most informal stuff/regional slang was picked up through friends who speak Russian and Russian films and news.
I don't think it is any harder to learn than Spanish or French would be, once you get the alphabet down reading is pretty easy since everything is phonetic, I assume Japanese differs in that way. Grammar rules aren't too bad either, they're different than English but they're fairly logical.
I'm not looking reading it for meaning or anything, I've read translated copies of the book enough that I'm sure I'll be able to follow it. It is mostly to expand my vocabulary.

Jelly you got it already. I played the demo when it was on the PS store and loved it. Even if I got it today I wouldn't be able to play it for a while since we move on Saturday and I have so much **** to do still. Also we finally bought the couch last night.
