Question about G6R and SLP reg

I have a quick question about the SLP reg or tank with the G6R. What does it really do for the gun besides save air per shot and is it okay not to use a SLP reg with the G6R?

Sorry if anyone finds this question dumb but I just cannot get a straight answer when I talk to people about it.

Please and Thank you

It just allows you to squeeze every ounce of efficiency out of your G6R by allowing you to shoot deeper into your tank. You can use a Non-SLP regularoe with a G6R BUT IT MUST BE Low Pressure (~400PSI Output).

Also, the gun runs all the air through the grip frame and the seals are really thin/small. With the really low output pressure of the SLP, you're less likely to blow those seals/develop a leak...

I was told to use either a SLP or ELOP reg with the G6R and V2 Vic's if you wanted Bob's Lifetime warranty.

Bob will not fix user generated screw ups. You don't have to use a SLP reg, but you do have to use a LOW PRESSURE reg. if your current reg has a LP kit, then that would be the cheapest and still get you running safely.

I dont see anywhere in the manual that a ninja adjustable reg set in LP will void my guarantee.... Just sayin'

The benifits of using the SLP reg are very nice. The user can low their input pressure when combined using the LP poppet as well. Lower pressures means the gun will be much more gentle on paint in addition to being able to squeeze the most shots per fill from your tank.

If you cannot use the SLP reg, you MUST use a low pressure output reg. I recommend NINJA, if you remove all of the ships, your output will be 400-450psi, putting you in the perfect operating range for the G6R - it will be happy.
