But seriously this tournament is held in NORTHERN ILL. and not 1(ONE) single Illinois team is signed up. They always complain how there are never any NCPA tournaments in Ill and so I schedule some and none are attending.
Seriously where is Northern Ill? Bradley? Western Ill? Ill State? U or I? I know you all have some sort of a team especially the first 3 teams. Im sure next year the new Midwest North Coordinator will remember this and not schedule any ILL tournaments since NO Ill teams attend. I understand if a few of you cant attend but seriously NOT 1? Im disappointed. I mean Cmon. SDSU is driving all the way from South Dakota. Not to mention not 1 Minnesota team
Sorry i will end my rant. I just want more competition at our tournaments like how we used to pull in 30+ teams at Stinger every event there.

I hate posting on PBNation for matters other than selling my equipment, but as the Vice President (for the second time, despite not wanting any leadership position) of the Illinois State team I will for the sake of clarifying a few things. Many of us on my team are not active posting members on PBNation aside for buying and selling things, we check and keep up to date but that's about it. I merely came across this thread looking in the College Division forum for information regarding Nationals and the Alumni Division. Although this is a rather late response to things going on here, I cannot and will not speak for any Illinois team but my own, and as of the past year or two I don't believe we have been apart of the teams have have voiced our opinion in regards to the location of Class AA events. Please consider that there are other factors that prevent our participation in events than simply not wanting to participate.
Illinois State University is in a stage of extreme rebuilding and at the moment it's unclear of where we will be in the future regarding our NCPA participation in any division. You are indeed correct about our performance two years ago in Class AA at Nationals. We did make it up somewhere in the top 10, but after that year it's been rough on our organization. I will not discuss that further than that because it is a matter that should and will remain within my team.
As of now we anticipate a line at Nationals, after that I don't know where our team will go. Nonetheless, in the end I would rather have an organization I am apart of remain in existence on campus after I leave regardless of competitive level than sit back and let it die without making any effort.
Best of luck to you all in this event and the remainder of the season.
