Filtered fill nipples
Does anyone still make filtered fill nipples? Filters FOR fill nipples?
Are there other options besides the old bob long fill nipples?
Do those bob long fill nipples (or any others) fit into crossfire stealth, ninja slp, and myth g2 regulators?
I ask all these questions because it seems between myself and my friends who's gear I tech, we keep getting some filthy fills from many of the fields we attend (not the ones in my signature),and I'm getting REALLY tired of cleaning tank regulators every 3-4 months to fix leaks caused by debris buildup.
Since these fields won't change filters (or maybe they are getting debris in the fill whips?) I feel like I need to be proactive in the protection of my equipment.
Thanks For any infos.

Yes, any filter nipple will fit on any tank. Its all 1/8th npt threaded, bob long makes one, not too sure on replacement filters though. And Custom Products makes one.
And really hope your field changes the filters. Its maintaince and every player should get the best fills they can get

Would I need to actually replace the filters or could they be cleaned?
Im going to start hounding field owners to be more vigilant about filter changes but it's hard telling which field exactly is the culprit when you play at 5 different fields. :-/

get into contact with the manufacturer, on changing or cleaning.
And yeah I would really just trust Hell Survirors for air fills. they always seem to do a good job over the years

Just got off the phone with BLAST. They still make those filtered nipples. Apparently the filters you can remove and clean/reuse. Just for future reference.

Good to know! I was wondering what would happen if the filters get clogged up from dirty fills. Thats pretty sweet you can remove it to clean it!
