New Field
hi everyone, i am in the Marine Corps right now i get out in july of 2013 i will be heading back to south dakota where i have plans on opening a paintball field in the south dakota Area. i am starting now with purchasing land and everything i need. what i need from you is to take this poll so i can get a idea of where to open it at

Rapid City's market is wide open for a new paintball field... my friend is selling his field, the only one in Rapid, as we speak I believe... hit up www.blackhillspaintball.com and talk to Steve.

Rapid city needs someone to come in and take over the pb sene. the only reason i wanted to sell my field is to keep pb in rapid. Im working on a field in Scottsbluff as we speak. The lady i rented from would like to keep renting so if you need her # hit me up

this will defiantly go through i plan on having a pro shop along with he field. i will already be granted a small business loan for $50,000 it is going to be a weekend field. friday night through sunday night. there will be indoor fields as well as fields outside. plans have already been made and i already have a contractor from California who will come in and break ground whenever i want to start. i am not looking to make much money out of the field and shop but to just help the sport grow in our area. money is the last thing in my sight. most fields in our area go under do to the fact they are out to make money off of it instead of having it for the love of the sport.

i wont be renting i am going to be buying a good size lot i am looking into picking up 20 to 40 acres. |

it depends if i do rapid city area i might be looking into the black hills somewhere or somewhere on the out skirts of rapid. and worst comes to worst i already own 50 acres out by Piedmont. small area but for this field i am building  people will make the trip. |

In general I think So. Dak. could use some more paintball action. I live in Huron and I have thought about trying to start one here but with a full time job and no money is kind of tough. Seems to me Rapid would be a good area to start one as it is a bigger area to bring in business from.

thats the plan for now it will be just off of the I-90 between rapid city and sturgis i just bought the land i plan on breaking ground 1st of May 2013 it will be a two month build. i have my contractor working on plans now. as soon as i get the layout i will post the prints on this thread. at that time i will ask for your inputs on what you want out of a field and what you don't want. the prints will be done in a couple of weeks! |

I have been considering selling my gear with no fields near by but if a new field is opening near rapid anytime soon I'll keep my gear and be playing.
