So you think choices in ME2 DLC can change the game in ME3?

EDIT: Please don't go into details on the Kasumi mission without spoiler tags... I'm playing it this weekend.

So I've been downloading 'The Arrival' on my ps3 for the last 3 days. Internet on base is horrible... but hey! I'm up to 83% and holding!

Better than the download speed in North Korea.

I'm not going to give anything away.
It just seems like how Shadow Broker and Stolen Memory end that they would impact events because things seem 'large scope'. They're not mind blowing, but it seems like there could be influence. I could be totally wrong but it would be a shame if Bioware didn't allow those with the DLC to experience a slightly different story line.

I guess I'll find out this weekend. I hope there isn't a disconnect to the story for people who spent money on DLC... but I'm going to enjoy the experience anyway if it does.

Pretty sure you tell the Illusive Man to screw off and go rogue from Cerberus if you blow up the base. You space jack the Normandy 2 on top of it, Shepard is a pirate, yargh.

Someone didn't do ANY of the follow up conversations in ME2 after destroying the collector base.

Haha nope, you got me, I stopped all my play throughs after I finished the final mission in ME2. Had no idea there were conversations after the game ended.

In an unrelated note, some developer tweeted that you start ME3 as the level of your ME2 character, so make sure you are level 30 for ME2, demo on insanity at level 12 was ****ing ridiculous, took me forever to finish. Also have come to the conclusion that most of the classes for Shep are useless on insanity (just like ME1 and somewhat ME2), but maybe it'll be better for the full game.

I wonder how big ME3 will be compared with ME2, just saw a russian PC version of ME3 at 9.95 GB's, ME2 was around 14GB's.

Interdesting...

Mass Effect 2 with all of the languages stripped except english is about the same size. You're comparing it to a multi 4 or possibly 7 release.

Could be, but I don't think that is the case. Just do a search for it if you really want to, the 14+GB version of ME2 is multi 6, 1 language releases are comparable in size to the 1 language release of ME3

How so? That's basically saying playing the main character of the game is useless. You have to flank and combo your bio/tech abilities. Warp/Reave make an explosion for instance and Pull/Concussive Shot or Push should be rather easy to pick up. Those combinations deal massive damage.
Playing on Insanity really is no different then playing on normal with the exception of the damage/armor levels.

I just realized that nobody else mentioned the Project Overlord DLC. That could be a potential game changer as well with what happens. It's also probably one of the longer DLCs next to Shadow Broker.

I've been putting too much time into the multiplayer part of the demo. It's just too fun to put down. I'm gonna be pissed when I have to restart my characters and get all new gear when the actual game comes out.
