Mass Effect 3 v. This is my favorite spot on the Citadel
Demo drops Feb 14th. Will contain single and co-op modes.
Launch is March 6th.
FAQ-
OMGWTFBBQ CO-OP?
Yes, Mass Effect 3 has co-op. First, it is optional and not doing co-op isn't going to fubar your story or make you miss out on anything, just adds an interesting twist as you replace NPCs for actual people.
Will it require Origin?
Yes. Why? Because EA is a bunch of douche nozzles trying to ram their shoddy digital distribution down our throats.
Can I import save games from Mass Effect 2?
As derp of a question as this is, it seems to be running rampant everywhere. So yes, you can import a previous save from Mass Effect 2 into Mass Effect 3. Importing saves from Mass Effect 2 will transfer choices as well as your character customization into Mass Effect 3.
Anyway, discuss how much you fap to Mass Effect, and how much you want to fire bomb EA for forcing Origin on this game...

I restarted ME1 beginning of february because I rushed it... and didn't complete all the assignments. I completed it a few days ago... and I saved Wrex... and even saved the council this time. Since I couldn't save my whole squad on my first play through of ME2... I imported my new Shepard, and replaying ME2 now. I should be done before March 6th. I still wish I could buy ME3 through Steam... since I have ME1 and M2 on steam.
Collectors edition has been pre-ordered. Need to finish ME2 with my ME1 play through. I slacked after beating the game seven times prior before getting ME1.
Fem Shepard shall rise again!
I can't stand the voice actor for the male shepard. So bad.

Just hoping Shepard doesn't have some Neo esque sacrifice scene in the end. I know he/she's gonna die. It seems inevitable, but I just don't want it to be in some cliche Christ-figure kind of way.
i predict ME3 will be bad, at least in comparison to the last 2.
How so? You're in the thick of the Reaper invasion so full scale war. And depending on your choices you can be against Cerberus at the same time along with all the other little choices.
The story has been winding up to this point so I don't see how it can be bad even in comparison. They didn't seem to really change the combat element, just tweaking some abilities and adding some.

I don't know if Shepard will die as a "no matter what" end. I was thinking about it, and they've always given you the ability to control that (especially in ME2). You control your inevitable outcome.
If they do kill him/her I think it will be like the Suicide Mission in ME2 where you can make it all out alive, but it requires you to have made the right overall choices, and if you don't take the time it will be the end of some characters.
What's interesting is they say not to delete your ME3 saves when done, as they'll still have a point in the future. Maybe Shep makes it out, and based on your save choices you find him/her in some part of the inevitable ME4/rebirth.
I got out of PC gaming for a long time. During that time I played ME/ME2 on my XB360. So my full save games are there.
I want to play it on the PC this time, as my rig was rebuilt... but I don't want to give up my XBOX Shepard since it's the same one I've always used (and everyone survived the Suicide Mission).
Don't have time to play through both again. Choices. Choices.
