The screen and bluetooth sockets were plainly labelled on the board. Kinda tough to mix them up, right?

I did fail to mention that I initially had a display, just not what I was expecting after reading the manual. Sometimes the image was incomplete, sometimes it was all "snow". It completely failed after 30 minutes of head-scratching.

I've had a friendly reminder to be patient, and I appreciate it. It's just that I do roughly the same thing for a living (develop/support solid-state devices) and I get hammered just about on the daily about how long will it take, who's payin' for shipping, etc.

LOL! Yea I know. I would, but money is tight right now and I have tournaments coming up. I'm 'sposed to play Saturday and I'd rather use my Axe than my Rail.

I do like how the Redline OLED appears to be a very straightforward install - looks like you're just swapping on a new foregrip with board and screen pre-installed. After my last experience, that comes very close to justifying the over $200 cost IMO...

You just summed up the Redline install. It literally is as easy as slapping in a new 9V battery and sliding it onto the gun.

The settings are stupidly easy to set up as well. Definitely worth the $$$.

so i bought a se board installed it just fine and everything works well except for the eyes. The board is plugged in correctly but when i start shooting it the eyes just dont work. ie eyes read a ball when there is no ball and then after a few shots it gives me the eye malfunction symbol. any clues?

Yep, sounds familiar.

I'm sorry to tell you this but I wish you luck getting this resolved. I have yet to hear a single word back about my returned Pathfinder, and at this point I am just writing off my $$ and moving on with life. And I'll be warning players away from this company of course, I don't want anyone else falling for these boards.

It appears that someone has time to update the SE Facebook page, but they can't see to it that their product performs properly or take care of their CS? Weak...

I'm feeling lucky that I returned mine the day after I got it and managed to get a refund. I can forgive a product messing up out of the box because it happens. But that's why customer service is the back bone of the company.

I am glad I heard this. I did not buy, and I think I am just going to buy a shockwave board.... Or just go Redline. But to buy a board that cost half of the gun kind of seems crazy. I just need it to ramp 12.5 LOL

The stock board can ramp 12.5.....also Mike if you wanna use your axe over your proto I would. It's not THAT hard to program the stock board and its not like you change it 5x a day or anything.

I have problems with my stock board. I am only looking to get the shockwave because I like how it is easier to rogram. Kind of like a tadao/virtue board.

The Shockwave is easily the best money you can spend on a Axe or Mini.

it doesn't say 'water resistant' in the description. Is the board coated, or have they changed to using a different on/off switch than on the optimus boards?

Those things corroded easily if they got wet. I think the on/off switch was the main problem with the optimus boards and moisture.

Yes the board is coated and the switch is more resistant to moisture. Does this mean people will no longer cook a board in the rain? No. But hopefully it will happen a lot less.

I have the same eye issue. SE sent a replacement and replacement has eye issue. They are responding to my emails and are sending a third board over. If this one doesn't work then I will see if I can get a refund.
