looking for a cheap way to get into pumps so i picked this up at what i felt is a good deal. I got out in my back yard trying to get it chronoed with marballizer and nice match lucky barrel. it shoots super consistant at 350 +/- 5 fps but when you try to drop it with the velocity screw on the back where cocking rod is it goes down to like 310 then just drops to 180 from there. if i try to adjust it on the hp reg (bob long torpedo) once i get close to 300 it starts leaking out the barrel. any ideas or suggestions appriciated.

2 things that may be simple, 1 check the output pressure of your HP reg, I had a stabilizer but it was an HP stab, it was ment for 600-800 psi, 350-400 was the minimum pressure it would put out, and i had similar issues to what you described,

second, try a different chrono. it might be off. but only worry about that if you think it might be shooting normally

the torpedo reg output range is fine.

you can't just adjust the reg and IVG to their extremes

you need to sweet spot the reg, then adjust via the IVG
