Just can't really afford the nice sleds. Trail riding is where it's at.

Yeah, we used to have a huge arctic cat, but sold it about 2 years ago. We hardly get enough snow anymore to keep more than one.

Ya, my dad has 5. Two pretty decent ones, two old, not so good ones and the Polaris. We just mostly ride logging trails out by our cabin, and will take them trail riding to the parks every now and then. Good ****

Awesome, winter sports sub-forum. I'm hoping to get a 2008 MXZ in a few months. What sleds do you guys ride?

Have an MXZ 600, goes pretty good.
This year I'm going to need some new jackets / snowpants / helmet, as I outgrew all of my stuff from the previous years. Any recommendations for the previous mentioned?

Mine is the Indy 500 in the middle. For being 11 years old, its a great sled. Now we just need snow instead of 40 degree temps.

As someone else stated Klim kicks ***. It is expensive but well worth it. They have an awesome warranty. The m fell off my uncles pants, A guy who works for klim said we can't have that. Took the pants put the m back on and gave him a pair of gloves for the inconvince.
Reima makes good stuff too.

Nice thread heres some pics from way up in AK
I got a 06 600HO RMK 144"
the sled had since been rolled and some plastic peices riveted on to hold the tub together on one side because the parts cost 300$ to replace, not counting labor:p
goign to add an HPS can and K&N intake this winter lose some top end but lose some wieght and gain some power
Also Klim is the best hands down but a great cheaper second is HMK

Can't wait to get back to the states so I can get another sled. Had a '79 Scorpion 440. That thing was FAST. Definitely kept up with the newer bigger sleds.
