Leaking air

So my extcy is leaking air from the ASA on/off valve... the tank is very low between 0 and 500 could this be the reason??

Before if i closed the ASA valve all the way it would leak.. i had to open it about half of turn and it would go back to not leaking

GOG Paintball works for a Paintball manufacturer
The oring on the stem of the on/off knob is a 6/70 Urethane. We make a extcy specific o-ring and replacement screw kit.

Happened to me, change your orings, if that doesn't work then your banjo settings blew out

Or you can try the old school trick, drop an old o-ring into your asa and screw your bottle in, this will help seal the tank in the asa. I recommend checking/replacing your tank o-ring first, could be a small nick or cut in the oring. This is usually due to a new player that unscrews a tank halfway then tries to screw it back in. I also recommend putting a drop of paintball safe oil on the oring. I drop will do, dont flood it thinking it will be better. I use Pmi Oil.

be VERY careful doing that, if you use too much and it gets into the reg or into the asa threads and your not paying attention, very bad things can happen

PMI Oil isn't petroleum based and all someone has to do is put the drop on their finger, and run it over the oring. That way it gets lubed and no oil goes anywhere else it shouldn't.

You mean lube...? But I agree that if you would geese everything up, use a lube

No, I meant oil, oil is a lubricant just like grease, some are petroleum based (bad idea, petro based oils cause orings to swell) some are synthetic. I use PNI oil on my tank orings and normal lube/grease on my internals and threaded parts.

Took the bolt out, it had few minor Scrashes and the rings were in a bit of bad condition, replace them and lubed it, will test tomorrow

I had a leak in mine and all i had to do is not screw the tank in all the way and it doesn't leak at all. It also shoots like its supposed too.
