Hey, let me ask you guys something, since we're kind of a lil' community here. If someone were to put on a tournament as a fundraiser for a search-and-rescue nonprofit organization, would it interest you? I'm not asking anyone to haul across the country for a game (that's silly), but if it were within a few hours drive? Probably be looking at minor/little prizes for certain things that didn't always mean winning, but sportsmanship, charity, most honorable play, things like that. Thoughts?
I dig the idea big time but ya know how greedy people get so I don't see a giant turn out for a tourney. Maybe a "big game" of some sorts. Living legends esq but not quite that scale. Maybe a different field then CPX.
Pump scout : I'm probably gonna steal that idea from ya and run a 5man over here in vegas for a wounded buddy. My one rule for philanthropic work is that no one profits off me. Otherwise if its a good cause I'm always down. I know other paintballers don't feel that way but I'm gonna talk to a local field owner and see what happens.

Ben please speak to whoever is organizing LL and tell them to change the name to something less horse pucky like. How about SUPER BIG MEGA GAME.....
or Hello Kitty Island Adventure Super Game
anything else, but Living Legends, wait we had this convo before, why haven't you fixed it yet? We don't pay you and Mike to just sit around lollygag! Enough skylarkings! back to work!

That'd be Sean Scott. He's beyond my realm of control, that's for sure. Maybe we can all gang up on him at LL5 and leave him tied to a tree somewhere at CPX?
Actually, he's a good guy. Mike and I will both, however, be at LL5, so everyone COME OUT AND SEE US!!!!
Charity paintball is a niche area. Car shows gross more money. 10-20 per car, 3-5 per spectator, trophys for 1-3 per catagory of vehicle with a best of show also. expand to have motorcycles also and charge them the lower protion for viewing. Find a business with a large parking lot and get permission to use it and you have a location. Reach out to the local car clubs for getting the word out. Do a raffle aswel with lil goofy door prizes and solicit donations from local business for stuff.
3-4 months of planning and getting the word out goes a long way.

It's been a few years since I lived in Vegas, but if the guy who owned Pahrump Paintball is still out there, he was a really nice guy the couple times I met him and I bet he'd be really cool with doing a charity event. It's a jaunt to get out there, but it's the closest location to the city with legal prostitution, so you can make a day of it
