I only hate spoiled newb kids that are douche bags on the field. I do my best to shoot them up with my mech cocker during the game till they get the message that cheating is not good/having $1000+ in equipment doesn't mean that your better than me/you just got shot out by a marker that doesn't run on batteries

Other than that, I'm fine with a kid decked out in a $1000++ worth of gear for playing. It's just bad sportsmanship and jerks that I despise the most. Sometimes I don't mind renters wiping. It just gives me another chance to shoot them again. I also tone it down when I player against a renter. I work on my snap shooting However, if he shows some skill, and is aggressive. I turn it up a notch.

I had a kid last time I played ask me if my a4 Fly was a spyder...he had a pile of **** mini and was talking to his other buddies about their eteks and pe crap...I am opinionated on angels because I can fix them and I never had one go down on the field. I have seen alot of newbs get blasted for having gear that makes them LOOK like they have been playing for years , Only to show up on the field and get smoked bad. It annoys us , the ones that work hard to play when we see young punks letting their mom and dad buy their ****. But think about this, if your kid asked you for gear and you had no idea they were getting top of the line and you wanted them to play, wouldnt you buy them it to make them happy. What they do with it after is their business. I get it.

An Angel mistaken for a spyder? That kid deserves to get blasted! Angel made the sport into what it is today. I think you hit it on the head, the true player that appreciates the sport can understand and manipulate the markers. Your a spoiled punk if you buy a marker and can't tune/troubleshoot your own equipment. I love the sport because unlike many other sports you can mod your gear to be your own.

I do however have to disagree with you about the mini. I have an Axe now and love it. Lighter and better than the stuff I had a decade ago for a lot cheaper. Not saying its faster or better quality, but I don't need the angel tuning kit to muck with the lpr as an example.

Hey if they quit after getting bunked one time, then they were going to quit soon enough anyway. Hell first time I played I got bunked but I kept on playing been playing on and off for 14 years now, so you can't be mad if someone says " I dunker them, they quit, I buy their gear cheap. ". If their hearts not in it then maybe they should quit.

My mom just got me an axe for my bday. It was back in Feb and she felt bad for not getting me anything till now. I would say it was worth the wait. Im the first to admit she spoils the crap out of me.
