Who knows guitars here??

I have a old stratocoustic guitar made by fender. its the slim electric acoustic. Anyway I say old cause ive had it for like 7-8 years I believe if not longer. The fret board is pretty harsh and the action is pretty high. I was thinking about trying to fix the bend in the neck with the truss rod BUT I got a better idea. Its a bolt on neck and looks fairly similar to an electric guitar neck.

Is there anyway I can swap this neck out for one off an electric guitar?

By the way if so what's a nice "cheap" neck I could try to snag. By cheap I mean not some $5,000 US guitars neck

As a paintball player, you should be trying to grow the sport. If there is ever an opportunity to help your local field, you should try your best to help.

They aren't plain strat necks. For starters, the Stratocoustics come with a dual-action truss rod, while strats use standard or their bi-flex (makes a difference when dealing with higher tension strings). They also have vintage frets, whereas strats come with medium-jumbo. Stratocoustic necks have a 10" fretboard radius, 9.5" on Stratocasters. Stratocoustics use a 43mm nut, American strats use a 42.8mm, and MIMs are 42mm (I believe).

Fretboards are easy to clean up and treat btw, I highly doubt yours is too far gone.

if you cant get the action fixed and are like set in stone with getting a new neck consider Warmoth they make replacement parts and you can get a new neck (if remember correctly) under $200 for a basic neck. but Stagger has a point, make sure the measurements match.
