G6r Backcap Oring ?
So, I have a g6r and My backcap oring as some of you may have had expeirience with, They buldge out. Mine was buldging out on the top. So to resolve this i went into my ego 10 spare parts kit and i found a smaller oring that i put on there and i dont have the problem anymore. Do you think this will effect my g6r in anyway? If so please let me know. thanks

I had the same problem. I just put some more dow55 on it and messed around with it till it slipped in.

o-rings are o-rings... if it fits... it fits. Most all o-rings are purchased off the shelf from suppliers. Very few are proprietary - it's simply too costly from a manufacturing standpoint.

Keep in mind, if you don't have a good rammer cap seal, it could lead to low velocity.

That.
If you don't notice any issues over the chrono it will be fine but the smaller oring has a chance of leaking or not sealing properly so make sure you test it before going to the field.

Mine crapped on me while playing. It was buldging out and then broke. Went from ripping a string to 2 balls rolling out of my barrel to gun not firing at all. couldnt figure it out then I noticed the ram cap hanging off. Had to push the cap in and hold it with my thumb while shooting till I got off the field. Just tightened the cap down and its worked flawlessly since. No pressure/velocity issues and no leaks since tightening the cap down. Kinda thinking the oring there really doesnt serve a purpose

As noted in an earlier post, use the right size. The stock o-ring is very thin and the back cap will sit flush when seated properly. I tried using a thicker o-ring (it sealed for a game) but shot velocity was all over the place. It eventually warped and bulged out.
Use a replacement 1mm x 15 mm d 70 o-ring and some dow 55. You will be happier.
