I live/work in Manhattan and haven't played paintball since I came here for college four years ago, though I used to be pretty decent. Is this field easy enough to get to from NYC?

Also, where can I find info on pricing?

Where in NYC , but yeah on a Sunday it wouldn't be bad unless you like in the battery park area (idk why the holland tunnel is always packed on Sunday but not the Lincoln or gwb).

It would be like 40 min - hour , you might get ****ed if there is a jets or giants game though (ie don't do route 3 then)

I live in the East Village and don't drive so I'm banking on public transport, which I looked up and google said it should take 90 or so minutes. I don't know how reliable that is though and was hoping someone would have some experience with it.

Buses from Port Authority will drop you down the block. About a quarter mile walk after that. I don't know the exact bus details, but I know that is what some do to get out to Meadowlands.

Hi I may be coming here sometime this weekend to play recreationally. Is this place only Speedball? Do they allow walkons? Do they have any indoor maps? Rental guns for my family? Thank you!

The bus is the 161 from Port Authority on the 4th floor. Once you get to Port Authority it's about a 15 minute bus ride. When you see the Meadowlands stadium on your left, push the button to have the bus stop. It'll let you off by Redd's restaurant. Walk down the road past Redd's and at the end of it you will find the field.

No problem , I would look up rules about tanks and **** in port authority , I sure as hell wouldn't want a cop stopping me and getting the smack down . And whatever the rules are print them out and put them in your gear bag incase you get a new guy .

Appreciate the interest! The Meadowlands at this time is Speedball only and is generally geared toward more advanced players on Sunday (Walk-on/Team Practice day)

Unfortunately at this time there is no more indoor field/rental service due to Hurricane Sandy. However Battle Creek Paintball which is located in West Milford NJ would be very accommodating for all walk-on's/New players. They also offer woodsball in addition to a brand new turf speedball field.

Do you think Battle Creek is better than Painbtall Depot? And do you think I should wait until it is warmer so the paint doesn't break as much/doesn't tail off as easily?
