the E1...any comments on this gun? im thinking of getting to just mess around with and yes i am set on this gun because i want to try it out for the hell of it. im not on anysort of budget really, but must keep it reason able. Plan on going to get all the upgrades that would be performance improving for it, and see how i could make it turn around i really would like some input and i cant seem to find a aftermarket board for it? Ive read that the G3 boards will fit? i guess its worth a shot.... i definatly need it to ramp

I dont know which board would be best....im swaying torward the 7th element because hell...i just need the psp ramping, not all the gizmos that comes with the OLED



i need to get a good barrel, any suggestions (not really looking to get a kit)?? Also are there any triggers out there for this gun? Do regular threaded regulators fit this marker?

Not sure if they've made any differences in the past years, but the 7th Element boards I've used are by far the biggest PITA to program. The instructions are the worst I've ever encountered.

All in all the E1 isn't a bad gun. I don't know if the g3 board will work in it, however, ANSgear has an E1 upgrade board for 55. I'd check around about that as it says it has more firing modes and what not.

The main problems with the E1 are that you can't upgrade the feedneck or the ASA. On my G4 I'm stock with the ASA and feedneck but the RAPS asa is very nice and the feedneck works well with the Halo Too.

But like you said, board and barrel. And if you want bolt too, and you've got a decent tournament gun that can keep up.

the feedneck IS upgradeable and i DO recommend it. you are right about the ASA, though. it is integrated into the trigger frame, so it cannot be replaced. the only way to put a new ASA on it is to do some major mods.

i also recommend getting the upgraded board. the stock board has semi and full auto and thats it. if you are playing rec ball, then the stock board is fine, but the upgrade board has all of the setting that a stock G4 board has.

virtue laser eyes dont really help improve anything, many people here who have bought a 7th element board have ran into issues with them not activating the noid, and one even had an upside down microswitch

So its a no go on the 7th element! thanks for that advice, think the $120 would be worth it for the APE? it does have a screen and all....or should i just go for the upgraded E1??
i only need it ramp the bps for Psp....thoughts?

if you get the oled version then yes it will have a screen..... the led is just a light. also both have psp ramping on it and a lot more

whats the feedneck threads, and where have you found E1 triggers? i cant find any, and im getting the L7 bolt...so just have to decide on the board i want now.....but really where did you find some triggers for an E1?

matrix threaded feednecks and im not 100% sure but i think u can use the g3 iq triggers on an e1

probably not......... i would look on paintball sites like ansgear, critical paintball, and paintball gateway. btw thats just a few site that you can find this stuff on

That bolt will make the gun hands down...just doing that and the feedneck honestly are the only things I would do to it, perfect gun for rec...no doubt.

e1 sucks dont buy it i had the 12 one off asembly line and it blew the asa oring everytime it shot great but the asa are a big problem on them

I had the ape oled when I had an E1 and it was great, had all the good stuff and some cheater modes for rec play, those were pretty fun to mess around with
