Gog = Smart Parts, so in reality they've been around a mighty long time.
Feedneck quality is pretty similar with both, actually. Don't think you'll have problems.
Color-coded o-rings are nice, if you only buy o-rings straight from Dye/Proto. Most people do not, because they're cheaper elsewhere (like oringmonkey.com). So don't let that be a deciding factor for you. Oringmonkey even has a size chart available for free so you can easily identify o-rings, and sort them yourself if you don't purchase them already sorted.
I'd prefer the Extcy over the 2011 PMR, mostly because the Extcy is $50 cheaper.
