ok guys quick question i have a tpx, when shooting it seems to be sluggish in firing like it hesitates is this cause of the co2 and is this how it suppose to work, and would it be better just to slap a adapter on her and run air, thanks in advance for any info. also she shot fine the first clip and it got a little colder out then started chopping and shooting sluggish dont know if this helps, i was using 12gram co2

Do you use 12g tanks or an external source?

Also, is it sluggish as in low velocity, or the time between you pulling the trigger and it firing? Or is it just emptying CO2 but not firing when you pull the trigger?

More details would be appreciated.

12g tanks yes
it hesitates kinda sluggish like i can pull the trigger and it takes a few seconds to fire and it chops the paint in the process and even without paint it still does this. but only when the weather is kinda cold so im thinking its co2 freezing.

next question can i run a remote on this gun and use HPA.

I believe so yes. It should say in your manual but as with most Tippmanns HPA can be used. Im not 100% though so I could be wrong.

It may just be your CO2 freezing, I know I had issues in October trying to play because it was too cold and balls were breaking in mine. Especially in 12g cylindars, it can freeze up faster.

thats what i believe it is, like i said it was hesitant on firing and you could not rapid fire it without chopping. so i think i will swap to a remote setup and run that see how it does.

Another thing is to check the paint your using for the chopping part of it. if its warped at all it will catch and break, I tried running walmart paint through mine once at my house...never doing that again.

What type of paint were you using? I've only had bad experiences with Stryker but never with JT. I find Cryptic to be the best woodsball paint.

jt paint it fired fine for about a hours worth of play but after temp dropped it starting acting up, i called tippmann and they are now looking at the marker, i and the tip techs think it was due to the fact its a older model and co2 got cold so i might switch to remote hpa use only issue is you can barely get between 250-280fps, but thats not a problem for me since i like to move quick with it and its mainly a back up for when my pump runs out of air and paint.
