Please use the versus threads, www.pbreview.com, and the many, many stickied threads about guns, pros, and cons, ect. You have to find something that fits you, we can all give you reviews and personal opions, but untill you go out and shoot something, you won't know exactly how it feels for you, and if you'll like it.

Definitely a yes. It's by far the best marker under $400. The only complaint people really have is the trigger, and that's not because it's a bad shape but because it's just set up wrong.

wow. Comeon. You can at least put a little more thought into the question

Read this, then try to ask that again. May be quite a bit tougher to.

I haven't got my hands on an extcy yet, but I know on the Ion, Vibe, and Envy do have a very funky trigger pull.

You get quite a lot with the exTcy though at a great price. It was how the Ion should have been made.

I've grown to like Dangerous Power, although it is more expensive.

Alright, So I recently just bought my GOG eXTCy. I'm sure you bought yours or something else by now. For a first gun, this is an awesome gun. Everything you could ask for in a gun under 400$ I could list the features, but I'm going to test it out more before I say anything by my means. Goodluck getting yours

P.S. The trigger is a little funky, but you can adjust it with a allen wrench. I'm going to see if I can change mine out, and adjust the angle. I tightened up the bot to just about I touch it, it'll fire.

I recently bought an Extcy. Its great, for a starter gun. At an entry level price I was not very scared to take it apart and check out whats inside. There are some videos online on how to do so. The only problem I had was when I used it with a Halo Too loader. Problem was probably my fault but it was chopping paint with the Halo Too on the highest speed setting. I didn't realize there was an option to change it till I started doing some research online. Otherwise than that I have not had any issues with the gun at all. I will be installing the Firebolt and 360 QEV in the future. Its a backup gun for me. I just let my friends use it that want to come and play with me that are not self equipped. I would recommend it if you are not going to play competitively but if you are going out to play rec ball or woods ball Its a great marker to start with. You will enjoy.

I held one at a local shop and the trigger pull is not very good. It could have been just poorly adjusted from the factory, but from all the youtube videos I see no one really says the trigger is absolute poo. The pull wasn't horrible but I really don't like the shape.

Just because you do not like the shape doesn't mean the pull is not "very good". People prefer different styles of triggers and pull length. You can not use opinion as a basis for a statement.

Can't say that I would waste my money, but it wouldn't be a bad starter gun. Do your research, though, and make sure that you wouldn't want something in the lines of a mid-range instead of low-end.

In case you didn't notice, Extcy is a mid-end, it's based off the Ion platform. If your going to classify it as GoG's mid-end then their low end would be the Envy/Vibe.

I was a bit hesitant buying one since my friend was going to sell me his geo + for about the same, but with some problems. but the first day I had it on the field I absolutely loved it and is my 2nd favorite gun I've played with (behind a luxe 2)

Don't get the fire bolt, its the same performance as the stock give or take. get the techt l7 bolt, best bolt on the market for the extcy

I concur on the techt bolt.

I've used 3 versions of it and the Deadlywind HP u3 beats it hands down. You don't even need a QEV for it to run better than an L7v2 would with a QEV.

So yeah, an HP u3 bolt kicks even harder *** with a QEV.

AND, the Orange full length CF bolt and the NDZ Skeleton bolt beat the L7v2 as well IMHO. They're super close in weight, have a soft face or a cupped face and allow for spring modification.

You forgot to mention an important feature the HP has over the others is the bolt adds a paint-friendly rubber nose, which is gentle on even the most brittle of paints.
