Earon Carter makes an insert kit for his pump guns. I have one for my Mini-Buzzard.

And tymcneer on MCB makes .670, .675, .680 and .685 brass inserts. I supplemented my Freak kit with a .670 and .675. PPS makes inserts now, too, I believe.

For what it's worth, I haven't had any problems with my aluminum SP inserts over the years I've been using them. I know they had a reputation to be hit or miss with tolerances, but I've measured mine and they're pretty good.

I've got a Kaner .684 and a full J&J ceramic kit when I need to go up or down from that.
front wheel drive with 300 horse power= death to transmission
Also china owns a good portion of gm and manufactures most of the parts.
So it china parts, pieced together in the USA, by union workers.
Nissan & Toyota make all parts in house at their USA facilities, which is why they cost more. But all in all much better parts.

Neither really makes a muscle car but both make quality vehicles in the USA with parts from the USA who pay taxes to Japan.
Chevy buys Chinese parts, assembles in America, and pays Chinese taxes as well as American and labor union taxes.

Ford at least is made in the us, didn't recieve a handout and doesnt pay unions.

Where cars are made/ parts

BMW, rover pre 2000, mini, rolls Royce
- Germany
Aston Martin-Germany
Mercedes - Germany
Vw- Germany
Audi- Germany

Toyota, Lexus, rover, porsche, - Japan/ USA
Nissan/ infinity- primarily USA / Japan

Gm, Chevy, Cadillac, Buick, Pontiac, Saturn- primarily Chinese components assembled in USA

Chrysler. Jeep, dodge- even more Chinese parts/ ownership
Aside from cummins motors

Ford, Lincoln, mercury- American, some Chinese components

Lotus of Saleen moved to Malaysia but I can't remember which

Yea, but what years? Rear wheel drive full framed Monte Carlo production was stopped in 88. They didn't pop back up until the mid 90's, and were at that point front wheel drive. I don't remember the year, but when the Impala dropped the "big body" style they went to a front wheel drive platform.

And most of Fords are also made in South america and canada.
GMC has no factories there homie at least for a bit, GMC is a union company so they look down on SA jobs, unfortunately they don't view chinese parts the same. China and USA.

No need for virtue gun, its more for catching cheaters pick up a yellow triangle for cheap. Rest of the list is pretty much the best setup but overkill for a pump.

I did not realize you were talking about the older ones. I was talking about the more recent ones. 05 or 07 I can't remember, but they used the same body style with front wheel drive and higher gear ratios for MPGs, which led to lots of trannys going bad.
88 for GMC is still good old USA stuff.
The chinese stuff started when they started packing more features and trying to lower the price. mid 2000s? I'm thinking 04ish

Not trying to offend anyone with the statements above. I just hate when people hate on Nissan and other brands similiar because the fact is every Nissan & part on a lot in the USA was made in Smyrna TN, or missouri (can't remember). Some of the brands that are not considered the big 3 employee many more US jobs and offer a much better quality per price.

GMC/ Chrysler have fallen off a cliff since 08.
Chinese ownership, chinese parts since the 2000s, unions driving car cost up, bailouts.
Some of the old models were iconic and golden, now not so much.

Ford is bleh at best now. I mean they are trying, and sales picked up because they did not get bailed out. They just don't have a car that suits my needs.

I agree with you. My grandpa and uncle think any car that has a japanese name is junk and they're worthless because they don't do anything for the US. However they think there GM brand cars are the best because it's American, when really like you've said, pretty much aren't even remotely American.

For me, what it all comes down to is who has nice car that meets my needs the way I want. I could care less whos name is on the thing.

also Kia's are built in Georgia. although i do not know where their parts actually come from.

Ford did have a plant near St. Louis for the longest time. i want to think it was closed a few years ago though.

felt that was relevent

for barrels im pretty fond of my kaner kit and DW w/ freak inserts.

I believe there was a Ford plant near me... I know it was shut down about 5 years ago though. Just not sure if it was indeed Ford, some kind of auto manufacturer at least I believe though.

I have a Macdev Matchstik, but that stay on my Droid lol.

Oh and what do you guys think of Minnesota? My dad has a job offer there, and there is a remote chance we actually go there. The company though is taking our family up there this weekend to check it out though, so we'll be able to at least which I think will be pretty cool. My problem is I already don't care for the cold we get here in Indiana. Idk how well I would take Minnesotas cold lol. I have found a pretty awesome indoor field right by Minneapolis, and theres some cool outdoor fields around as well

also on a side note fords trucks are ages ahead of toyota and nissan crap when it comes to the body. also the honda ridgeline is so bad you can bend the body on it with your hand. Friend works in a bodyshop.

are roller sears only for sliders?

Ford ahead of Nissan/ toyota? explain.

Nissan frontiers come with:
A much better 4 wheel drive system.
The differential lock mechanically, on the offroad edition it is selectable.
Bilstein Coil over shocks? these are quite expensive.
Nissan isn't uni body like chrysler, honda etc. Nor is toyota.
The actual frame on a Nissan is damn sturdy, maybe not as sturdy as Ford because they make a bigger truck, but definately more so than Honda. A ridgeline should not be considered a truck.

Nissan really excels in SUVs since the xterra is the last non unibody, 4 wheel drive, truck frame SUV made that is actually outdoor worthy.
Chevy SUVs= car frame
Chrysler/ dodge: car frame
Jeep: Car frame or unibody
Ford: car frame

Your summary of frames is wrong and misleading.

GM truck and SUV - ladder frame
Dodge - ladder frame
Jeep - Wrangler is ladder frame, Cherokee is unibody BUT still VERY capable offroad
Ford - ladder frame

What is a ladder frame barrel?

I did not think tahoes were still on truck frames but cross over ones.
I wasn't talking about the truck frames, primarily the fact that most are now crossover type frames

Ie: compass, Tahoe, explorer, liberty, edge, etc

Only bothers me because they show commercials of how capable they are.

Wranglers I like, when we went to off road a grand Cherokee was demolished trying to winch it out. I blaim uni bodies
I just dislike chrysler group and gmc as companies. Mainly because they received bailouts, and are tax exempt.
Quality is a desired taste and it is much harder to find a true muscle car from other manufactures.
But aside from Cadillac and wranglers they don't sell anything prior to 00 that I like.

Don't get me wrong there are exceptions to every brand, but the vast majority of cars, trucks, SUVs in the last couple years have not done it for me.

I'm not trying to be biased I own an xterra, an f250 super duty, the wife has a 2010 camaro, her mom has escalade.
My mom has Toyota 4runner and her husband has newer Chevy truck.
Stepmom has edge, sister has new focus, dad has suburban and mercedes.
Moms husband also has a 70s era camaro for drag racing.
So I'm mostly talking about ones I've driven and or worked on.

I must say recently the taurus has impressed me. I also like the new much cheaper range rover. However I have fallen in love with 2 brands Porsche and Audi. Both were so much fun to drive. When I graduate I fancy picking up one of the last three.
